The breakfast was generous and very good, served by a very obliging and friendly young lady. Nothing was too much trouble. The dining area was very clean and spacious. The building itself is a little quirky, and the bathroom had a modernised feel about it yet the room retained lots of old world character. A very nice ambiance. An underground carpark very close by.

The door locks are a bit clunky sometimes, and there was a musky smell in the stairwell. Had to be careful that the timed light switches didn’t cut off because the stairwell was pitch black. A single low wattage light which is constantly on would be helpful.

Excellent location, very close to the place de la bourse. Nicely decorated room in a classic old Bordeaux building. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to explore this beautiful city. Julien is a great host.

Breakfast was okay, but could use some extra (e.g. savory) options. Street is a bit noisy, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend an earplug.

A wonderful place direct in the town centre so walkable to the shops and restaurants etc. The room we had was the superior room. It was dark and moody and very beautiful. The bed was really comfortable and the shower and loo is open to the bedroom which might make some people uncomfortable but it is very stylish. Breakfast is bread/croissants, cereal, jam and butter.

Air conditioning would be an added bonus, but fan provided was adequate. only downside, which isn’t the hotels fault, is the bad drain smell from outside, a very hot and humid day! also be aware our room had open bathroom so maybe not so great for friends only!

Beautiful room, comfortable bed and pillows, quality bedding. We didn't meet our hosts in person but they were extremely helpful on the phone. Great location, very close to everything. We left before breakfast was served so can't comment on that. Would definitely stay here again.

Host was fantastic, the room was spacious and in a brilliant location

The main light in the room didn't work but the side lights did and the room was nattually light so not too much of a problem.

I ended up arriving late unexpectedly and the hosts were very easy to reach and expressed genuine concern and also everything was very comfortable upon arrival.

Nothing. I felt bad as I came in quite late - everything was good.

The location is excellent right in the center and close by foot to everywhere. Camila and Julian are lovely hosts and very helpful.

There is no parking on site. There is a parking lot nearby for a fee

Perfect location for exploring the city of Bordeaux. The room was clean and comfortable and the hosts friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and perfectly ample.
