Steigenberger Alcazar

There were no flaws we could spot during our week. The staff was extremely friendly ( and quite unusual but... NOT CHASING YOU FOR THE TIPS! ), and everyone looked and behaved happily. The rooms were clean and well-maintained without any issues whatsoever. Food - we tried everything except of Italian restaurant ( but we are not the pasta people, so forgive us ). The adult pool where we spent most of the time was simply amazing, but passing by through the general zone - it did NOT hit us with the obnoxiously loud music as in other resorts.

The only issue I've had with the hotel was that upon arrival, on top of the price from booking.com I needed to pay an additional ~20% or so for "service and taxes". It would be GREAT if booking.com would include that in their pricing as in our cost it was £500 more than expected. Not a biggie, but I'm not a fan of financial surprises.

Very neat and well-maintained resort, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, great facilities and good food with a wide variety and many restaurant options. Fantastic breakfast pastry selection.

One of the best hotels I stayed in. It had everything you need. You don't need to go out. It is chill and relaxing, has various restaurants, activities at night, diving center, spa, swimming pools, beach, stores outside. The staff were very helpful. The coffee guy at the reception was welcoming and friendly. The sea view was amazing and the snorkeling area at the end of the bridge was gorgeous. The diving center had so many activities. I went on a diving trip and I did snorkeling and parasailing. The experiences were all unforgettable. Special thanks to Hazem the guy at the diving center who was kind enough to recommend different options. Adventures timing was on point and Hazem made sure you show up on time. The breakfast team were also great. Special thanks to chef Mohammad who makes the best Shakshoka. I ordered shakshoka three days in a row lol. He also gave me a box of pastry on my last day at the resort cuz I had an early flight. Thanks to Enas who gave me a beautiful room with an amazing view of the sea and pools. Thanks to all the team members.

I didn't like that I had to order an iron each time I want to iron my clothes at a 5 star Hotel. Room service needs improvement. Sink towels were dirty and the coffee utensils, cups and spoons were not always available.

Hotel facilities are great in general, the pools, the access to the beach. Breakfast is very good, everything is clean, gardens in really good shape. The staff in the bar are very customer oriented and they do a great job. I was asked for feedback during the stay and they took real action.

Transport to the Airport and city, there might be a shuttle bus. We had problems with taxi drivers in every trip we did, they are aggressive, rude, unclear and expensive.... There is a car service in the hotel, but 18USD/ trip is way to expensive for country prices, there might be a mini-bus. A la carte restaurants are not up to the level. Japanese restaurant, raw fish and noddles were dry, as if they were prepared long time ago. Italian restaurant really poor, ravioli uncooked and watery... pizza really low quality. Reception staff should have better English level.

Alcazar Hotel. One of the Best Holiday with my Family. Alcazar is really and really one of Top 5 Hotel in Sahrm el Sheikh. If you stay at this hotel, You will understand why i tell you this hotel is one of Top 5 Hotel in Sharm. The staff were very very kindly, helpfully and respectfully. The hotel is built and furnished mixed; very modern like Western, and on the other hand like Egyptian. Also all furnished, colors, gardens etc... all the objects looks like designed by a Lady. The Foods were really very delicous. Before our trip my wife and my daughters were very curious about the foods. But, when they were at the hotel they loved all the foods. The Master Chef, Mr Muhterem who is Turkish and came from Antalya. He created a magic kitchen at the hotel. He mixed Turkish, Egyptian, Japanise, French, Lebanise and Itallian food culture and taste in his Grand Kitchen. I can quarantee for you, you will not be hungry in this hotel. The rooms were very clean, new, relax, and comfortable. The Beds were very soft and comfortable. The Bath room was big and clean. When you come to your room, You will feel yourself like at your home. Also, hotel and Sharm el sheikh was very safe. My wife and my daugthers was relax and felt safe during our holiday. I can strongly suggest to you to have Safari tour with ATV and Camel. Hotel is only 15-20 mins away from the Sharm el Sheikh Airport. Anyway, everthing was like paradise for me and for my wife and two daughters.

I want to thanks all staff, hoping not missing anyone, for their hard work and care, commitment un Steigenberger Hotel, I will start by thanking Kids Club who made my kids happy and enjoying every minutes spent there ( Nina - Nuttela - Maya) very kinda girls and very lovely with our kids, after 5 days spent we’ve extended because my kids and wife are enjoying. I want to thank first relation team Suheila and Omnia and Vita they were very meticulous and attentive to our request and their come often to ask if everything is fine, thanks again for your hard work and care given to us. I want to thank Marwan - Dasha and Ziyad from animation team smiling all the time helping us to gather and enjoy as a parents. Without forgetting all waiters I can’t write all their names but their are excellent special mention to Ehab and Ali in the Alamaza Bar Thais hotel is amazing I would strongly recommend and indeed will come back again !!

There was some minor comments, the hotel should make a new Baby foot which is broken, I think there is no much to say about negative point cause all things are being resolved on timely manner.

I never usually make a review but this time I had to. I have stayed at dozens of 5star hotels across the world. But none of them come close to Steigenberger Alcazar luxurious standards. From the moment we checked in to checking out the service was amazing. The food served at Steigenberger is insane they have a huge range of different food I just wish my stomach had space for more! If you are going to Sharm, and want a heavenly experience from the hotel room designs to the beautiful walks in the hotel you must stay here. Just thank me later! If you love instagram like me then this is the place for you, the whole place is picturesque. This place looks even better in person. I must make a special mention to Hosny who brought the meaning of hospitality to new heights! He couldn’t have done more. No matter what you want he will find a way to make it happen so that your stay is the best. I can’t forget Mohammed Galil who makes every stay the most important. Also Islamy at the buffet has the most welcoming and genuine smile. If you want the best orange juice ask for Mohammed Hassan at the buffet, you won’t regret it! Don’t forget to visit the fish bar by the beach. The service, the food, everything is perfect! My wife has already told me that because of this experience she only wants to be staying with Steigenberger Alcazar in future as we know any other hotel will never be able to reach the high standards that Alcazar has now set. Thank you Alcazar and every single staff member for making this the most magical experience! It’s not farewell, it’s a Goodbye until next time.

Everything was perfect ! Exceptionnel service and staff .My kids loved the kids club ,kids activities and kids evening shows and so did we as parents .We will be coming back soon !

beautiful hotel, staff were awesome especially with the baby. The pools were great. Room was perfect for us to have our space while the baby slept in the kids room.

beach was nice but you couldn’t swim from it really as too shallow. not proper sand either.
