SKKY Hotel

Very close to the airport so great location for early departures or late arrivals. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Shower was large and modern! Friendly staff!

It is a bit noisy in the hallway as the floors are wood and people walk heavy. Wifi was extremely slow that I resorted to my own hotspot.

The Taj Mahal was delicious and wonderful. The room was great and the proximity to the airport was fantastic, with our early flight out on Sunday. It was nice to walk to the airport.

It was our own planning, but we didn't like that it was a $20+ taxi ride into downtown Whitehorse. It might be worth considering a shuttle service, for those staying in Whitehorse for a few days.

I checked in late and had to leave very early the next morning for a flight but it was comfortable. Mostly I was really impressed by the night clerk, Imran, who was very helpful and friendly even though it was the middle of the night. Thank you, Imran! Also appreciate that they provide affordable long-term parking options.

The Skky hotel is very close to the airport, so very convenient for coming in and out of Whitehorse. The rooms are on the large side, and very comfortable. Overall very well maintained facility.

Unfortunately I was planning on having dinner in the new restaurant at the hotel, and it was closed. So I had to go eat elsewhere. Fortunately, there are many good choices in Whitehorse.

The hotel is very close to the airport, about 8-10min walk. convenient location to travelers. The room is cozy and clean, staffs are all very friendly and helpful and the restaurant allocated at the entrance ( Tony’s) is one of the best we haves tried at Whitehorse. you will enjoy a pleasant stay and highly recommend it!

I like the flooring in the bathroom. personally I believe it will look even clean and modern if the room’s carpet will be replaced with flooring.

super convenient - I always just get off the plane and pull my bag through the parking lot and over the road - great way to get the blood moving after a flight

if I was being really picky: no room service - no gym. but it’s not a spa or club med all inclusive so I’m. or going to be picky - it’s a very convenient airport hotel, it’s my go to on the way North

I really enjoyed the rainfall shower & how hot & constant the water temperature remained. Also that the staff were focus on cleanliness. I saw them wiping everything down, even the windows.

Can’t think of anything but will be happy to try the restaurant when it opens.

The hotel is right on the highway but with no noise from either the highway or the airport across from the property. It is very clean, the toiletries in the room were of a 4-star hotel standard.

Absolutely nothing except that seeing a security camera monitor at the reception showing virtually every part of the building looks awkward, makes one feel there is a security problem around; I had to ask. The CCTV monitor can be moved away from where customers can see it.

I was very grateful for the early check-in at no additional charge. I was travelling alone with my two kids after having surgery on my arm and was able to go straight to the hotel and settle in.

The restaurant's service was terrible. We waited 1.5 hours for a basic pasta with sauce for our kids. Having worked in many restaurants, I understand this meal takes less than 5 mins to prep so long as enough pasta was prepped in advance. I understand the restaurant is not connected to the hotel so this has not changed my rating of the hotel.

The location was great, the room was very nice, and the staff were all friendly and helpful!

There was no microwave in the room. If you arrive late, there are no food options and you can't heat anything up you might have brought.
