Motel 6-Whitby, ON - Toronto East

Price was ok, location to restaurants was good, the ladies at the check in desk were amazing... loved their energy. I like the fact you have redone the flooring and taken out the carpeting at the Whitby location... Peterborough needs to get on that change as the carpet has seen better days.

The orange wall colour in the room was a bit much, especially when you tired after a long day. Disappointed there was no fridge for us to put our food in so we lost our meal for the next day - when trying to travel on a budget and your ice packs have already melted this was a bit upsetting. This is the second Motel 6 I have stayed in within the past month and the beds, at both locations, are terrible! The foam eggcrate mattress toppers are awful, when you sit on the bed or try to adjust your sleeping position the bed squeaks, we couldn't adjust the temperature in the room in Whitby (thankfully we could in Peterborough).

I was only supposed to pay 137.28 that was with tax already included but the guy charged me 159.32 and I didn’t realize it until I checked my bank account contacted the front desk asked to speak to a manager was told to call back at 4:00pm I called back and was told oh you have to send us a email with how much it said you where supposed to be charged and a picture of where it says 159.32 on my bank app after I emailed that in they said oh well we have to see what the owner / other says about being charged the wrong amount

The lady at the front desk that checked us in and out was amazing and super friendly.

At 8am there was a knock on our door and someone wanted to come in and check to see how the room was cleaned the day before and only wanted to check under the bed. Thought that was really strange and should have been done after it was cleaned.

Always a great experience staying here. The hotel is located in a convenient location which is helpful if you’re not driving. I’ve had zero issues staying here, the staff are always accommodating.

The room was clean, big, and just great in general.

The only issue was the noise in the hallway. From what I understand, there are people who live there, so that might indicate why things were a little loud at times during the night.

Staff are always accommodating and friendly. The beds are always clean and the room is always tidy. I highly recommend this location to anyone.

Toilet flushes very well, room was big.

The bathtub didn't drain. No pressure in the water from the bath or sink.i brought my dog with me, but the grounds around the motel are very dirty and have some drug paraphernalia outside on the grass.

We stayed at Motel 6 to go see blueJays in Toronto. It is close to the Go Train station, 2 min drive max. Also this Motel is off Hwy 401 so it made it easy access. Lots variety of restaurant, even gas station and Tim’s. I actually love the stay, the bed was comfortable as well as room temperature. Customer service was also fast and excellent!

The staff are friendly, location is perfect, pricing is very reasonable, clean rooms.

Motel could use updating, especially the elevator which makes a lot of noise. Beds are small for sharing

Check in was easy. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious.

The room was too hot. I turned the thermostat way down, but the HVAC unit continued to blow out hot air. I turned the unit off and opened the window to sub-freezing air for a few minutes to cool the room down. I left the HVAC off overnight, but the room was still too warm.
