Montecassino Hotel & Suites

Breakfast was a huge improvement compared with my last stay in 2019. Rooms were clean and all staff were pleasant. At first I was told that I couldn’t get a one hour late checkout, after a 7 night stay, but the gentleman at the front desk has no hesitation when I asked him. Who was the woman I spoke to on the phone who told me it wasn’t possible?

Locks on the doors were difficult to operate and I didn’t like having to carry around a large, sharp key. The investment should be made to change those locks to a card system.

The room was big and clean. Had clean towels and they cleaned jpout room very well in between the days we were there.

The hotel doesnt have any sign to announce it in front of the building. The road was closed due to construction witvh isnt their fault, but they should have an opening for the parking from the seco d road as well. It was 30 min drive to the cn tower but it was nice. Breakfast could of been a little better, but it was ok.

the bed was comfortable, the continental breakfast was nice most hotels don't offer any at all. the hotel was clean however the wash rooms could use some renovations.

the construction and there is only one way in and one way out. you need ice machines on every floor not just but the service desk i was on the fourth floor it was annoying to go to the second floor each time.

Close to local Yorkdale Bus Station. Uber your best bet for travelers transportation as Taxis are quite expensive. Staff exceptional always when I arrive express check in a 10+ Bonus for all travelers.

When waiting for rides they don't always come to the main doors sometimes you have to go to them this is due to upgrading the buildings true address.

The staff was friendly. The suite was very nice. The location was good for us. The continental breakfast was adequate.

The suite was dim lit. Brighter lighting would have been helpful. I needed to use the light in the bathroom to text and the flashlight on my phone to use the microwave. Although the couch was comfortable, it is old and scuffed.

First - lady at the desk (I think Nueve?) is absolutely wonderful! From the time she said hi til I checked out, she did whatever she can to make my stay more enjoyable. The building is a bit older so theres cracks in the paint and other minor issues but very clean and very comforrtable.

Would be nice to have a fridge/microwave in more of the rooms, found out this time that they're only available in the suites.

Some guests were a little rough, my phone was stolen from the desk but the Manager was amazing, confronted the thief, got Police in and ultimately got my phone back for me. Amazing guy, thanks Dan!

Right across the street from Downsview Park station, great for a night out in the city. Wide selection of breakfast items. Location was very quiet at night - industrial park on 3 sides and Downsview Park on the other!

Wish there were reusable dishes for breakfast & in the studio rooms; everything was disposable. Coffee lids did not fit the take out cups.

the property was great, staff was great, the only issue was they have a function at the banquet hall and I was up until after 1 am and the music was still loud. Also the room beside me have kids and they were up form 6am, parents was yelling, it was very hard to relax and sleep.

I like the location so I don’t have to drive anywhere near the downtown core. I absolutely love Nubi, who works the front desk, she is amazing. She is helpful, friendly and makes you feel like you’re staying at her home!
