Shemron Suites Hotel

It's always hard to find a place with a bedroom separated from the rest of the suite by a door, and this place has that. In fact, our suite had two bedrooms with doors and air conditioners in both rooms. Add to that a full working kitchen, Bell satellite TV with a ton of channels and a super friendly and helpful manager, and his place is head and shoulders above almost everywhere else I've ever stayed. The price for what we got was very reasonable and we were only 2 minutes from our destination which was a small comic convention in Deep River. Definitely worth the money for business travelers looking for some semblance of sanity on the road.

My roommate thought the bed was a little tough, but it wasn't for me, so it's hit and miss I guess.

The bed was very comfortable, not too hard or too soft. The sheets and towels were good quality. The TV was a good size and easy to operate. The room was very quiet and a good size. Everything was very clean. Nick, the owner/manager, was accommodating and courteous when I had to change my dates at short notice. The Shemron Suites are a cut above the usual small-town hotel. I would happily stay there again.

Great location in town, easy walking distance of most amenities. Staff were very accommodating and there was a small gym. Perfect to get some exercise on a treadmill since running outdoors was impossible for most of this trip due to the wildfire smoke making air quality unhealthy.

The room was clean and a decent size. The beds were very comfortable. The shower had very good water pressure. We arrived late at night and the desk person was waiting for us. (We messaged an approximate arrival time. asked in Google maps.)

We had some problems with the WiFi dropping. (The room was on the backside of the building. and don’t know if that could impact it.)

The Hotel is central to Deep River and very easy to find. The staff were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. The rooms were exceedingly clean. Bed very comfortable. Linen and towels were fresh and clean. New towels every day. The building is an older building that has been well maintained. The rooms were a comfortable size. There appear to have been many updates to the carpet and fixtures, etc. Parking in front of the hotel is good and there is a large lot across the street that is great for those with large vehicles. I was picking up a 20ft RV Trailer at the end of my stay. The manager allowed me to park it at the parking lot across the street....free. The hotel is a great value for the money and I will stay there again. This is not a 5 star hotel that you would find in Ottawa, but is a small town hotel, that is clean, comfortable, helpful and friendly.

Everything was very good. I have no complaints but do have one recommendation. The hotel was very busy, considering this is the fall. I would encourage the Management to make repairs or improvements quickly when required so that the building stays in the great condition that it is in.

Customer service is always great, rooms are super clean and have everything we need. Second time we stayed and it was great. I appreciate the use of all white linens and towels especially the duvets and covers you can tell they’re very well kept and clean and you don’t have to guess about coloured blankets.

Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint

It’s an older hotel and it’s definitely not fancy but it’s clean and was soooooo quiet. I love Deep River and the restaurant attached has amazing food. I would recommend.

It’s time for some updates to the facilities. It’s a little old school but the staff are very friendly and it is clean.

Kind and friendly greeting, check in was fast, brought to room by staff, waited for me to check room then asked me if everything looked OK and if I needed anything else.

Not your fault but would have been easier to find you if you had advertising on highway.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bed was dreamy and comfortable. Fresh white towels and sheets smelled so good. The flowers outside are lovely. Great central location. Wonderful Santa Fe Restaurant attached.

Cozy little family-run establishment. Clean and welcoming. Staff are excellent and very helpful! Stayed there twice in 5 days and will definitely return.

Would be great if there was a TV in the bedroom but otherwise a great little hotel.
