Hilton Garden Inn Toronto/Ajax

Great Location right off the 401. Our room faced the field beside the hotel and we didn't hear any of the 401 traffic. Clean rooms with comfy beds. Washroom was also clean and we loved the fact the hotel offers shampoo and soap in big bottles attached to the wall inside the shower.

Darn kids running like crazy down the hallways throughout the evening till about 11:30pm. After that, it was fine. Not sure if both elevators are working but during our stay, only one seemed to work/being used.

Clean, friendly staff, comfortable and spacious rooms, great location to stay and take the GO train to Downtown Toronto.

There was some confusion when we checked in about payment. We had paid through Booking.com and when we arrived they made us put the full amount onto our Visa at check-in. This meant then that we had to wait in line to check out to ensure that we were not charged twice for the room. Also, we usually only stay at places where breakfast is provided so we really missed that feature and would look for a hotel that offered that at our next visit .

The service was amazing in particular one of your staff members made our stay a little better each morning she was bright and courteous and extremely helpful her name was Natalie

We feel that there should be some sort of a menu in the room for your room service at the restaurant we didn't even know you had a all day restaurant in there so if there was at least the menu in the room you probably would have ate there more

Staff was fabulous and kind ,hotel was nice and clean . The coffee was great in the morning in the front lobby .

You need new pillows , your pillows were like an old cottage pillows from the 70’s . Lumpy and flat :/ Had to go to my car and get my own pillow that I had brought from home as I was going away up North thank goodness I had it in the car. But besides that everything was perfect😊❤️ Oh yeah I was upset the whirl pool was closed :( I was really looking forward to the whirl pool but I understand things need to be repaired.

location is ideal was very clean staff were courteous, very helpful and efficient

didn’t appreciate hockey families and a few others ignoring mask wearing in elevators, hallways, and lobby. I know it was nearing end of rules and having things lifted but the rules should have been abided for all on the property. didn’t appreciate several kids in pool area unsupervised…. no adult with them and no kid 16 or older. there was a lot of horseplay- jumping and splashing and yelling and it was later at night- 10pm and later- especially thursday night.

Excellent hot tub facility and very relaxing at the end of a long day. This location is very easy to get to off the 401 highway and gives a good start in the morning, particularly if you are headed east. We used it to attend an event in Toronto city and later on in the evening very quick to get to.

Really enjoyed the stay and met our needs.

great front desk staff. they were very helpful. nice garden at front of building. two queen beds were comfortable and upscale coffee machine was a nice treat.

there was a power outage just before I arrived that lasted another two hours. darkness everywhere. but the lights came back on and all was ok after that.

Breakfast was disappointing. 2 orders for the same meal - omelette, bacon, sausages, home fries. One order arrived with apologies that the other order wasn't ready. I waited for my friend's order before starting mine. It was another 15 minutes. My food was obviously cold by this point and I sent it back to heat up. The other order was missing the sausages.

Easy to get to right off the 401 in which we never heard the traffic while in our room , the room was big and the bed was super comfortable , the staff were very friendly and polite

I wish breakfast would have been included in the price of the room

The Covid protocol was top notch. The for was actually sealed with a sticker stating that it had been cleaned and sanitized. It was obvious that all protocol was being met for the safety of the guests and the staff. The room was large and well appointed on the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet and perfect for sleeping. You could even order a takeout menu to have in your room. Coffee supplies were free and ample. Our two nights stay was very pleasant. We were very impressed that the flag outdoors was flying at half mast to honor the 215 children found at the Kamloops residential school.
