Rockwater Secret Cove Resort

We stayed in the Honeymoon Cabin (not on Honeymoon though, haha) and it was so cute and cozy! Incredible views from a lovely deck overlooking the ocean. We also had the opportunity to book in a massage in their oceanview spa tents and I HIGHLY recommend this! The staff were so friendly and accommodating for our whole stay. Wes even rustled up some dessert for us after hours! Wes is a star and provides exemplary customer service. Thanks for a great little getaway!

Great location along the coast with wonderful views. This was the end of a five-day road trip up the Sunshine Coast and we felt special. No air conditioning, but even with the hot days we didn't need it. Friendly, helpful staff and the restaurant is pretty good. We had a bit of a kerfuffle with billing between a single bill from Booking and then breaking out the individual rooms but it all ended well, We stayed in the cabins, not the tents but anywhere would be a great break (the tents are a bit spendy but very special).

The food wasn't quite at the quality level indicated by the pricing but still tasty.

Loved the location and facility. The view was incredible and really felt like being in paradise. The staff were all very attentive and friendly with excellent service. Beds were very comfortable. Nice to have the chairs and table on the deck to take in the view!

The only thing that I felt needs to be improved on is the food. We ordered room service for dinner and the food was not very good in comparison to the price. It was edible but not great. We had breakfast in the dining room and again was disappointing, the back bacon I ordered was not back bacon but instead spam type ham, I couldn't even eat it. Eggs and potatoes were good, be nice to have more selection for toast as well.

everything thé resort had to offer was amazing from the hospitality of the staff to the entire calming oasis it was by far my Favourite.

If I had to find something I wasn’t to please or happy about would be the availability to ‘after hours’ being located somewhat off grid you don’t have access to amenities when needed. if there were to be little store that had options for guests to purchase sat snacks or beverages or whatever they may need to accommodate their stay that was available 24/7 regardless of time of day then that would be ideal. but besides that the entire stay was beyond amazing.

Most everything is perfect at Rockwater in Secret Cove. Remote prestine stunning location, so friendly do anything for you staff, and we had excellent massage, and cuisine great. Have stayed here years ago in one of the designated dog freindly rooms. This time no dog so tried one of the tents. So glad we did!

A bit colder than expected. A 100 year record temp low just below freezing. But the glamping tent had a heated floor, a gas fireplace and an extra heater or two. We would do again- the remoteness and views amazing. If you want to do an upgrade make sure you do so through Booking.com process rather than onsite. Booking.coms is better price!

The cabins were delightful with great room amenities and fabulous siting. We loved the pan-a-bode like interior walls and cabin feel. We'd suggest removing the panelled spray-texed ceiling.

While the hotel was great the evening dinner was a tad below expectations. The presentation of the food seemed hurried and the quality not particularly in line with the prices. The restaurant staff appeared stressed, likely from being understaffed. However, they were all gracious and polite but perhaps not entirely enthused by the work.

The scenery was breathtaking. You can’t beat it.

The room was clean but in general it seems overpriced for what is in there. I’m pretty sure we just paid for the view because there were two mattress stacked on top of each other, the shower was an extremely basic one and it ran out of water after a 5 minute shower. 2 of us wanted a hot shower and only one of us did.

A very unique location, with a wonderful ocean view. Dining was as advertised being upscale, and is delicious. Dining room has lovely view of the cove and ocean.

Fan hum/noise from the restaurant was annoying. Outdoor crew maintenance should be kept minimal, to keep loud noise and voices away from guests as much as possible. The outdoor pool should be heated, especially being outdoors and large part of the main resort.

Breakfast was good, Dinner not that good

Dinner food could be more tasty and lighter Omelet could be more tasty

I thought the breakfast was excellent and the service was superb. The room was clean and neat.

The TV channels were not working, but the receptionist tried for us. However it didn't work for her either. She got in a man who couldn't speak English but he did get the TV to work. So it all turned out fine.
