Silver Creek Lodge

The two bedroom suite was spacious, having two full bathrooms is a bonus. The unit was clean and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen has sufficient dishes and kitchen ware up cook meals. We were in the ground floor and had a large patio, with outdoor seating.

The unit was quite hot and we struggled to get the heat below 24 degrees Celsius. Fortunately the weather was mild and we were able to keep the windows open. The second en-suite had a soaker tub, and the water comes out of the ceiling, which is quite weird.

We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Creek Lodge whilst exploring the area. We had a car, so it was great to have secure parking. The apartment itself was really comfortable, and clean. We cooked a couple of the evenings, and the kitchen is well equipped. Was also great to have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Nice touches providing toiletries and dressing gowns. Easy checking in process and very accommodating throughout; coming back to us quickly when we had enquiries. Views of the mountains from the balcony.

Only minor things which didn’t effect our stay, but were noticed. The shower could have been better, either very hot or tepid, but the bath was wonderful. The bedding was two sheets sandwiched between the duvet, which was slightly annoying in the night! In respect of the location, it’s either a long walk or short drive into the main town, although this didn’t bother us as we were happy to drive or cook at the apartment. Albeit, these are really minor points which didn’t effect how great this accommodation is, don’t let it put you off booking!

The kitchen was nice to have and the coffee was good. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice view. Having a separate couch in the kitchen was nice. I liked the walk in closet with plenty of space for our suitcases. The onsite restaurant is wonderful

I didn't like the flooring in front of the bathroom sink. The raised stones bothered my feet. The air conditioning is very noisy and may need servicing. We didn't know that we had to squeeze the container for shampoo and body wash and just thought that there wasn't any until we spoke to staff and they showed us.

The front staff Emma was lovely and so helpful during our check-in. Our room was a one-bedroom suite and it was clean, and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good view.

We tried using the laundry machine in our suite and the corner of the front part of the washing machine popped out when we were using it. We called the staff at night and they said that they would give us access to another suite to use the washing machine and would deliver the key cards to our room. We waited for 20 mins and decided to walk to the front desk to see what the delay was. The staff told us that there were actually no rooms available and that there was nothing they could do about it. When we asked for some sort of compensation, the staff just said sorry and that there was nothing they could do. Also, the room is pretty dark and the washroom lights went out once and would not turn back on until the dryer had stopped.

A suite with full (and fully functional) kitchen (including dishwasher) and laundry was useful for a week long stay. Ample heated underground parking. Streaming services available on the TV.

Bed was hard and uncomfortable. A thin mattress was placed on a frame designed for a much thicker mattress or a mattress and box spring. A bit difficult to control the temperature - needed to open windows in March to keep the temperature at 20°C, even with the thermostat set at 60°F (15°C). No barbecue on balcony. No power outlets in the parking garage to charge my EV.

Everything was wonderful. Max checked us in on Monday afternoon and later in the evening came up to help us get our television working. The crib we had requested for our grandson, who arrived on Thursday with the rest of the family, was there when we arrived. Everything we needed was provided; beds and kitchen were great. The only "glitch" occurred on Sunday checkout when we left our room and entered the elevator which got stuck! ...a new experience for all of us! The desk staff were very efficient and had the elevator repair technicians on board very quickly, considering it was a Sunday! Overall, we had a wonderful week and will definitely be back. Friendly staff, room was pretty big and a decent price. Free underground parking. Nice views. Bed was comfy. Kitchen came with dishes to use. WiFi. Great curtains, which kept the room very dark for sleeping in. Restaurant food in the hotel was pretty good, except for the weird bun that falls apart the bison burger was delicious.

Room not sound proof at all. Could hear the neighbor constantly talking through the wall. The shower was awkward for anyone, tall due to the shower head placement. The tub fills from the roof in the middle of the tub, seems a better place for the rainfall showerhead instead of right up against the wall. One of the chairs in the living room was very well used and falling apart. The restaurant in the hotel didn't have breakfast.

I stayed only one day in Canmore, which I didn't expect much. However, the accommodation showed the best room condition, including Banff and Jasper, and thanks to that, I was able to finish my Rocky trip well. The living room was spacious and the sofa bed was comfortable. The spacious bed in the room was also comfortable, and the door to the bathroom was on both sides, so it was not inconvenient to use. Washing machine, dryer, and cooking utensils are recommended as the best accommodation.

I was going to drink coffee on the balcony, but it was uncomfortable because people smoked a lot because it was a smoking area in front of me. The interior of the room was clean, but it seemed that the balcony side was not cleaned.

I love everything about it. The big space for my family, the kitchen, the water coming from the ceiling to fill up the tub that my kids loved, and the fact that it's close to gas stations, grocery and highway. I would also like to commend the front desk (british guy) who assisted us, from moving our date of stay, to giving us the fan because the AC wasn't working. He was very accommodating, and a good conversationalist. Thank you!

The AC wasn't working, good thing it wasn't very hot inside, and the fan that they gave us was just enough to give us a comfortable stay. There was no TV inside the bedroom. I wish the internet was a lot faster (having the router inside the room). The hallway was a little scary to walk into, because the lighting wasn't really good. It was like walking in a horror movie. 😂 I wish there was also an ice machine on the main floor, because it was really scary (because of the lighting) to get up to second floor and walk alone in the hallway.

convenient location. stayed twice and on 2nd stay was overheard asking about laundromat and offered another room with washer and dryer with at no extra charge which we appreciated and accepted. desk staff pleasant and helpful.

property shows some wear and cleaning could be more thorough. some lights not working, could be bulbs needing replacement. regarding design, bathroom sink and tub/shower not user friendly, number and placement of light switches to many and confusing. decor combination of floor, fixtures and paint very dark.
