Sunset Mountain Inn

Exceptional place to stay! The room was large and met all of our expectations. The hotel is located within walking distance of the downtown centre and great restaurants. Very spacious room with a refrigerator, microwave, and full-size coffee pot. The staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. This is the only hotel that provided exceptional housekeeping daily during our stay. For anyone traveling with kids, this is a great place to stay as there is a waterpark (large slide, kids pool, large pool, & hot tub) included with your stay. Quiet & comfortable stay! The hotel/room was basic. Beds were comfortable and we had what we needed. Excellent underground parking. Great location though! We walked mostly everywhere! My only complaints were out of the hotel’s control. There was a boil water advisory in place and no water was provided, we were told to either boil it in the microwave or the coffee pot and were provided directions to Safeway to purchase bottled water. Also, the pool was out of commission while we were there. We were told we could go to Elevation Place and use the pool (at regular price for admission). Elevation Place was only a couple minute walk and a fantastic facility.. very glad we chose that option. I am not sure I would stay there again, it would depend on the price. Definitely would pick that area though!

Misleading ad on Booking.com You have to walk across the parking lot to a separate resort to use the pool. It was - 32 when we stayed.

The staff here was incredible! Of course we are in a pandemic so it's not like we did a lot, spent a lot of time hiking or in our room. The staff here made our stay quite enjoyable. The games room was great, everything was very clean. Id love to come back post pandemic and get to utilize all the available facilities. Thank you to the staff here! We appreciate the hard work that goes into starting open in a time like this! The only reason the bed comfort didnt get a big excellent is because the sheets were scratchy, I ended up pulling the top sheet off the bed because i just couldnt handle the feeling on my legs and arms. I do have pretty sensitive skin though, so this may not be an issue for most

The water slide, games room and indoor parking. The mini fridge was essential for Saving money strategy in regards to eating out during our trip.

More hooks for wet towels in room. There were none.

Location is well located close to town (short walk to grocery stores, restaurants). The pool and spa were clean, very nice.

Coffee machine should be replaced, as the coffee pot was not the original so coffee would not drip properly.

Can cook and the room had a vacuum, fan and more. It's almost I feel at home. We can park our vehicle at their underground parking. It might it was not busy time of a year. I am not sure if we can or can't.

10 minutes walk from town centre. lots of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. staff very friendly and helpful. accommodation excellent , we were upgraded to a condo with all facilities. price very reasonable. we loved it.

Pretty much everything. The price was affordable, the staff were accommodating and friendly, and the pool was great. Something I really liked as well was our room didn't have carpet. It was also meticulously clean! I booked spa services on-site, such as a pedicure and eyebrow/eyelash tint which made the snow days extra enjoyable. They also had a games room with a pool table and fire place that was a great perk! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!!

The pool is in a separate building and a bit confusing to access. Well worth the the efforts though! My husband found the bed a bit hard and I found the pillows a bit hard but still provided us a great sleep.
