The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood

Very nice bungalows for the price range. The resort is beautiful and clean. Staff is very helpful. Restaurant was good though the waiting time for food sometimes random as is usual in the area. Snorkeling in the bay is pretty good.

It is difficult to walk along the beach at high tide to visit neighbour resorts as it is more a collection of beaches and built up beaches than one long sandy beach.There is not much else close in regards to restaurants and bars. Distances on Koh Kood can be quite long, so no wandering around to randomly look for places.

location is great. nice little bay with clear water.

bad value for money. the resort is old and needs maintenance. the structure is very 90’ and the cottages are all clogged up together. breakfast isn’t very rich. nicer resorts are available for a minor price !

Everything about this stay was wonderful. The restaurant at the resort had the best Thai food we've ever eaten. The service was excellent from everyone we encountered. The rooms and scenery were relaxing. One day we would love to return to this beautiful island and resort.

All staffs are kind,friendly and have hospitality. Location is the best I’ve ever stayed.

Most beautiful bay at Koh Kood . The sea very clean , well protected with a snorkrling / diving spot . Resort is very nice, rooms are big spacious , clean and well kept, ours were higher up so with a view to the bay . Staff were very kind , cheerful all the time. The whole island is great with lots of nature , relatively untouched beaches , cute coffees and restaurants.

Breakfast compared to the general standard of the resort was basic . Coffee not good. If you like long beach strolls better to choose other beaches on the island . If you rent a motorbike remember to put petrol in it right away , we forgot :)

From the moment we arrived till the last moment we left the staff we all absolutely amazing. They were very polite,friendly and conducted their duties not as work but as people who cared for their guests and the service they provided. This exceptional quality was reflected from the trainee staff to front desk manager . The property location was perfect,accommodation very comfortable and of a high quality, the beach was clean, food and drinks were delicious . It was great the hotel encouraged guests to enjoy being amongst nature and appreciate the sounds of the wildlife, this added to the experience.There was nothing to even consider complaining about.We are already planning to return 😁😁😁😁

There was nothing we did not like about the property

Brilliant. We were wowed from the moment we arrived. Staff couldn't do more if they wanted. Friendly, welcoming and on top of everything. From reception to waiters and cleaners. Rooms were plenty big enough, bathroom too. Outside beach area wonderful. Free use of kayaks which was great to explore. You can walk a fair way around the shore line to explore also. Nice and quiet and plenty of space for everyone. Koh Kood is a bit of a mission to get to but honestly worth it. If coming from Bangkok you can get bus (7hours I think) and then the ferry (1hour) you can also get a flight to Trat and then transport to pier and ferry. We flew back which was much less tiring. Reception can arrange transport if you wish it.

Nothing to not like about this resort.

Absolutely fantastic location. Good snorkeling and SUPing in the bay. Comfortable villas. Nice selection at breakfast with egg station. Decent dinners. Free use of kayaks. Reasonably priced massages.

Chaotic ordering and serving at the restaurant; starters, main and side dishes came in random order and usually some items had to be asked for twice. SUP and snorkelig gear was charged extra. In total we expected a bit more considering the nighly rate.

They literally take care of everything you can think of. Thanks to the wonderful reception team we had the most stress free stay. They arranged our transportation to our next stay in Koh Mak (which turned out a though job given the rainy/low season). We could rent a motorbike easily, kayak is for free. They booked us a great snorkling trip. This team shows a lot of flexibility and organisational talent! Above all we felt instantly welcome in this beautiful resort. The restaurant service is fast, friendly (always smiling) and serves delicious food. They have a lovely farm to table concept and if you're lucky you'll even spot little pigs running around the beach.

The only downside I can think of is that we should have planned to stay around longer. Koh Kood is a magnificent island and this is a great place to stay!
