Hotel LIVVO Budha Beach

The staff are friendly. The hotel wasn’t overcrowded which was nice as all 10-15 guests could use the swimming pool throughout the day without bothering each other. We never felt unsafe in Santa Maria but the hotel had two security guards. The receptionist can help book a taxi or different adventures. We needed to check out early because of our flight and the staff packed some simple breakfast for us the day before.

The first room we got had an issue with the air conditioner so in a few hours we needed to move to another room but the staff was very helpful and supportive in the process. It’s very convenient that the restaurant is part of the hotel. The restaurant staff are also very friendly but the prices are high like in Northern Europe, one mean 10+ euros. The location is not bed, it’s a quiet area with few people passing by the pool but it’s one of the last hotels in the town. When walking towards the center at night you have to walk a few hundred meters in a darker area, a bit uncomfortable.

Not sold as an adult only hotel, but that's really what it was. Nicely positioned 10 mins walk into Santa Maria and with only 29 rooms a breath of fresh air compared to the corporate / gated hotels just north of the capital. Pool of this size was a real bonus too.

Hotel understaffed on our arrival both at reception and in the dining room which was frustrating and not very well dealt with by the hotel. That said, it didn't happen again during the week so maybe just a one off. The walk into town is fine (10 mins) but the first 200m of this is across dusty wasteland. For those of us of a certain age it is possible to 'have a fall'!

everything. the facilities are super nice and the pool and sea view is amazing. the staff of super friendly. my special thanks to Erica who works at the restaurant. She told me everything about Cape Verde, including other places like Santo Antão and fire island. I will be back to visit. the breakfast and massage were great too ! I will be back

Clean property. Beautiful swimming pool. Calm area. Near the cap perfect for walking and running. Five minutes walk to the town full of bars and restaurants. Comfortable bed and a big tv with rich selection of channels. 2 minutes walk to the beach gym and two surf -restaurants.

The shower was a bit small but comfortable. Very strict about the breakfast hours. 10am is a bit early to close the breakfast on a holiday destination. The coffee machine was a bit confusing but all in all very good breakfast with scrambled eggs, crepes and collection of bread and cakes. And a variety of fresh fruits.

The meals were superb with outstanding presentation at dinner and the staff were all wonderful. The location of the hotel was conducive to a most relaxing and enjoyable stay. Our room was very spacious with a very comfortable mattress and the non-slip walk-in shower was ideal. There were plenty of sun loungers and the musical entertainment in the evenings contributed to a very pleasant experience. We really liked the fact that the hotel catered almost exclusively for adults.

Very little - the only improvements I could suggest would be the addition of a full length mirror in bedroom 12 and the curtain in the room didn’t fully close - relevant as the room was on the ground floor. This could easily be remedied if the railing was extended slightly.

We had a great time at the hotel Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help! We booked a standard room but when we arrived we were nicely surprised that they moved us to a room with the ocean view. The room was clean, specoius and very comfortable, I really like the fact that it is not a very big and overcrawded hotel so we could really relax by the pool and didint have to "fight"for sun loungers by the pool. The hotel is situated 10 min walk from the main beaches and city centre which for us it was actually an advantage. I trully reccomend this hotel. And I would like to send special thanks to the Owner of this hotel, who make this place a very friendly, opened and welcoming. We will definatelly come back there!

We've just returned from a week's stay at Budha Beach and loved it. We didn't want to stay in a large hotel with lots of people so this suited us. We could walk to the main strip from the hotel in 7 minutes, whereas some of the larger hotels were a taxi ride away. We did the full board option and the food was incredible! It's not a buffet style, you order from a menu and it's freshly cooked for you. Staff were attentive and so friendly and helpful. Its a great relaxing vibe at this hotel within minutes from the bars, restaurants and beautiful white sandy beach/ pier. We stayed in a suite and room and balcony were huge and very clean.

staff 10 points out of 10 chef 10 out of 10 Everyone there is nice, kind and they do their job really well, even beyond the scope of their duties, I really felt like I was in a home atmosphere. the surroundings of the hotel in the order list, the sandy beach would perhaps be more attractive, but the burial grounds of shells and volcanic stones enchanted me. the sandy beach is a few steps away. I WOULDN'T CHANGE ANYTHING AND THANK YOU AGAIN AND SEE YOU SOON

the pool is beautiful and clean, but the water temperature put off many guests😅 with a king size bed, 2 mattresses instead of one were not comfortable and separated during the night (my friend and I sleep in the victim in the middle) but these are little things that do not affect my return to the livvo Buddha

Our room was spacious, comfortable and large bed. Great view of the sea on the common areas of the hotel. Nice pool. Helpful and friendly staff. All night security guards that made me feel safe, since the hotel is easily accessible from any direction.

Breakfast not as advertised on the pictures. Seems to be a corona measure. Breakfast was fine, but as it’s shown on the pics, we expected something better. Terrible coffee (from coffee machine) at the breakfast! Only drinkable option was the espresso. Missed a larger mirror in the room, as we only had a mirror in the bathroom.
