Rosenburg Hotel Brugge

The staff were friendly and so VERY helpful - recommendations for great dining and interesting activities. We had to leave early, so breakfast was moved forward just for us. How nice. The room was exceptional- we even had access to a lovely rose garden, complete with a cat. Furnishings were perfect, incl the table and little upholstered lounge chairs for coffee which we could make with the in-room coffee facilities. We were amazed at the quality - we travel a lot and this trip we found this absolute gem. TV

In all honesty we can say that NOTHING needs to change. This goes triple for the staff.

The location is great. Comfortable walking distance to the heart of Bruges as well as to quieter areas. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was good and plenty of it. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

If you choose a canal view, bear in mind it also overlooks the road too and traffic noise was surprisingly loud with the window open. Therefore we ran the air con most of the night which didn’t feel very eco-friendly. Will probably go for another room if we return.

Nice quiet area within Brugge. Only 10 mins walk from the city centre and shops. Staff was excellent and helped at every opportunity. Was given a discount pass aswell which saved us around 10 euros at attractions within Brugge very clean areas and very quiet rooms.

Not alot of facilities within the Hotel and within the rooms themselves. Was not a big fan of the see through frosted glass bathroom doors as this is not great for privacy. Also with the toilet so close to the door you are able to see everything. Literally everything you or your partner is doing within the toilet. Everything could do with a freshen up to bring it all up to date with the current times like other hotels have within Brugge. Just the lack of moderness brings it down a notch.

This was our second stay at the Rosenburg. The room, breakfast and environment were all as expected the first time. All the staff, both in reception and catering, were attentive, friendly and accommodating. Our room was very comfortable, quiet with all the facilities we needed and a tranquil setting, overlooking the canal. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to the centre but, more importantly, we were also not too near the main tourist areas which ensured a peaceful stay. The breakfast was varied and of very good quality with a selection of cooked, fresh food and breads. Thank you to all at the Rosenburg who ensured our second stay was as good as our first - we are already looking forward to our next visit.

Nothing at all. We were asked to let the staff know if we needed anything at all but everything was great.

Lovely hotel. Our room was clean, comfortable beds, nice view over canal, aircon was great. Wi-Fi good, fridge, kettle and safe in room. All around very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, hotel in a laid back quiet area but close to centre. Lovely walk into centre along quiet canal. Excellent restaurant across the canal. Would return without hesitation !

Using the car garage was a bit fiddly the first time , instructions could be a bit better. It is a short walk away but this would not put us off returning !

The staff was absolutely wonderful. I broke my rib in a biking accident and they extended themselves beyond their role to assist me. Ann, Christine and Mohammed at reception were caring and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a view of the canal and a beautiful church steeple, out the other side. The breakfast buffet had everything you would want and the coffee was good. The location was quiet, away from the crowds, with good restaurants and a laundromat nearby.

I was very satisfied.

As a solo traveller I was looking for a hotel to stay in where I was going to feel safe coming back to it at the end of the night without having to worry about my surroundings. The location was great and not too far from the central square which was only a 10 min walk. It was very quiet and peaceful. I had a canal view room which was great to people watch in the morning. The rooms were large and value for money for what I paid for. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a good location, really friendly hotel staff, clean and comfortable facilities.

The breakfast was excellent. I had to pay in advance if I wanted it, but it was fine. It was decently priced. The quality of the breakfast was great. The room was spacious. I liked the amenities, especially the complimentary bar. The location was near the highest tourist areas. The neighborhood was good. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the best aspects was the private parking garage. Parking is very difficult to find there. But, fortunately, the hotel had a parking garage.

I guess the only complaint would be the the doors to the room. I liked the fact that I had a key. I didn't like the fact that I could hear someone opening and locking the door down the hall. However, everything was excellent.

We had four good nights here. The room had ventilation and air conditioning so slept well. The hotel is away from the center of town which makes it quieter. The rooms are okay. Everything is getting a bit old. But it's clean. Nothing more is needed. Only one thing: the coffee for breakfast can be refined. The breakfast itself is sufficient and fresh.

Nice little cozy hotel just outside the hustle bustle but within a maximum of 20 minutes (on foot) to every place to visit. The staff are nice and helpful. The location is excellent, right next to a canal. The beds could be a little more comfortable but all in all it was a great experience.

The beds could be a little more comfortable. And they could stop using little soap bars and little plastic bottles of shampoo and shower gel and switch to more ecological solutions.
