Banjo Paterson Motor Inn

The room was exactly as described! The king-sized bed & large, firm pillows were beautiful to lay in and we're now thinking of getting one ourselves! 😂 We came down for NYE and mostly just relaxed the whole time. Restauratns & shopping areas are a short 5-15 minute walk up the street, with some grocery & retail stores for if you're ever in need of any clothes or products. The kitchenette came with a microwave, kettle, and even a toaster, so there's plenty of room for making your own breakfasts or even dinners. There's also a BBQ down by the pool area. The location is very quiet, great soundproofing with the walls/windows. It's also very private with some great views. Would definitely consider coming back again.

I understand it's only a small pool, but for the love of god PLEASE invest in some heating 🤣 It's the middle of summer and even on those really warm days, the pool was like an icebath. We also didn't have some of those colored tokens in our room. I think we had a red and a green? But no coloured token to request for the room to be made. We're pretty neat travellers though so we kept making our bed and washing our own dishes, but having the option to have the room made for some fresh towels/plates etc. would have also been nice. 🙂

Excellent value for money, perfect location, clean and beds were super comfortable - would definitely stay there again. Loved the easy self check in and checkout.

The only thing I might suggest, it could do with a bottle opener for an afternoon beer sitting on the balcony overlooking the Lakes …or you can just take you own.

Clean, ease of entry, free parking, fairly quiet

Shower head in Rm 3 is dripping at quite a rate when turned off so a great deal of water is wasted. Heater is old and noisy and took some time to warm the room. To much ambient light from the balcony window unable to be fully blocked by curtain. TV remote not correctly tuned to TV unit; manual controls worked, though.

Great location, so easy to walk to everything. Thought about guests wanting to wash or dry clothes and have installed a line across the width of the bathroom including the shower recess. Excellent value for money. Access with passcode instead of key. Great info inside the room

1. bathroom tiles needs cleaned … need a good wallop of mould remover 2. bathroom ceiling fan too loud 3. coffee sachets supplied horrible… doesn’t smell and definitely does not taste like coffee should

location and clean comfortable accommodation. The keyless entry was great as was the ability to access recharge facilities in the room.

We stayed for two nights and they didn’t refresh and clean the room and replenish the tea/coffee etc after the first night.

Consistent with the property and room description, our stay at Banjo Paterson was fairly enjoyable. The spacious room, bathroom and small kitchen area were all clean and neat. The beds were especially very comfortable, which we didn't really expect. Our room was located on the ground floor with a view of the parking lot, which we didn't mind because the courtyard is well-maintained with lovely greenery. The location is great - being a few minutes walk away from the strip of shops in town. Additionally, we liked the convenience and safety of the contactless/keyless entry. Friendly and great communication from Danny, the manager.

The only negative would be in regards to the Wi-Fi - it wasn't so strong at times.

Easy contactless check in was great! No fuss and so much quicker then checking in at reception. The pool was nice and right by the beach. Check out the glowing algae on the waterfront right opposite!

Good location, only walking distances to cafes and shops and river walks. Easy checkin and very comfortable

We were 5 mins late back to get our bags from our room and the keypin had already expired. Would recommend setting the expiry with perhaps a 10 minute flexibility in case guests get caught up getting back to the room. Having said that- the host was very responsive when we had to call them to get our bags out of the room.

The location was amazing, very close to shops and beach

The room was a bit dated the showers were a bit old and mouldy. The place definitely needs some updating and the pool was too deep in the shallow end for little kids.
