Paddlewheel Motel

Good location. Having a convenient/liquor store across the road was fabulous. Our 10 year old son enjoyed and spent some time at the pool. Clean, tidy and welcoming room. Dish washing liquid provided. Good to see toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom with plenty of toilet paper provided rather than traditional toilet paper rolls

1) Small toilet/shower space; fan not doing much and ended up having a steamy bathroom and foggy mirror after a shower. 2) Used dish cloth/wipe - would prefer a new one provided so I don’t have to imagine where/how that cloth was used previously. 3) Toiler brush was yucky. Please consider cleaning or replacing the brush as part of daily cleaning routine especially before getting new guests in the room.

Everything and everyone were amazing. The rooms were very clean, the beds were comfortable and everything you could need was there, including a microwave, toaster, aswell as plates and bowls and cutlery were provided for cereal etc...... The pool area is really nice and was well maintained, there is also a lovely undercover BBQ area . The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Echuca to stay at Paddlewheel Motel. We will be staying there again. 🙂

Absolutely nothing.

Room was large and comfortable. Upstairs at front of building. Bathroom & room were quite good and bed was comfortable. Room had small outdoor balcony but due to cold weather it wasn't used. Car parking was adequate but tight when motel was full. Able to park reasonably close to stairs to get to upstairs room.

Being at the front of the building there was a bit of road noise but it was tolerable. Rooms at the back of hotel wouldn't have this issue as they are well of the street. If you're a light sleeper it'd be worth considering asking for a room towards the back.

The staff were fantastic. We made a very last-minute booking due to rain flooding our camp site. As a result, we needed to do our laundry very urgently and it was late at night. The Motel owner stated she did not want us using the laundry too late due to people being booked in the room next door. Instead of telling us to go elsewhere they happily dried our washing in their own dryer to ensure all clients remained happy and were able to sleep.

This place was exactly as advertised. There is nothing not to like.

Our room was located on the first floor and was a good size for a queen bed, shower, toilet and kitchenette. It felt a little roomy and the TV was in a good location that you could swivel around to see from the couch. The bed was a little soft, but not too uncomfortable. The shower was really good, great pressure, temperature and roomy. We walked into Town as it wasn't too far and Coles supermarket was just across the street.

It would have been good to know if there was an option to stay on the ground floor or 1st floor as there was only stairs to haul up the luggage.

The pool was the star of the stay, especially after a long hot drive. Good size, shaded and alot of fun. The motel is close to shops and restaurants, which was very handy. The lady in the office was lovely.

Our room door sticks before it closes, leading my partner to think the door was locked when he took the kids to the pool. I returned from the shop to discover it was locked, but not closed. Happily, being such a lovely country town, our stay was crime free!

Lovely room sith Balcony. Comfortable bed and spacious room with good facilities including kettle and toaster, hairdryer and a good set of crockery and cutlery. The room was serviced daily and was clean and tidy.

We went on a busy long weekend when the motel was full and the car parking is very tight. If you have a very large vehicle you may struggle to park and exit the car. Apart from that minor issue everything else was very good.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hosts were very nice, friendly and made our stay very comfortable. The motel is run environmentally sustainably reducing waste where it can. There is a supermarket across the road and city centre was walkable distance.

I didn't like the position of the toilet as there was very little room if you have long legs.

The staff. The room was spacious. Really enjoyed the room to move. The bed sagged a little in the middle (ever so slightly) however, it was the best ever bed I've slept on in a motel for several years. I've even traveled overseas and stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels but this mattress was good and supported my back. The breakfast was very reasonably priced and for that alone I'd go back. I love a cooked breakfast and this was better than some cafes I go to. The location was perfect. It was very quiet.

Complete instructions for the heater. The staff said we could call them but we didn't get back to the room until about 11pm at night and I don't feel comfortable calling people at that time. So room was a bit cold as the more I turned the heater up the less it didn't work. (I found out next day you set it on 21 or 22 and wait) I did search for instructions. There were none. All twin rooms (room for two) are upstairs which is an issue for people with mobility issues. Ran out of tissues. There weren't many to start in box. (maybe only three). No extra blanket in room.

Not many places look better in real life than on their pictures PADDLEWHEEL DOES! Pleasantly surprised when we arrived Very vibrant inviting safe place Location bang on in the heart of town, walking distance to everything you need, literally across the shops from Coles. Great clean room bathroom and facilities. Love the pool & spa and undercover areas to sit and chill or BBQ! EXCELLENT service by staff I’d come back with more family & friends
