Majestic Oasis Apartments

The room looked nice and neat, had all of the necessities that I needed. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Shout out to Sherry or Shirley (sorry if I’m wrong) for being so helpful and understanding. I was travelling to Port Augusta from Whyalla and the day I was due to arrive it was so hot. I’m thankful she understood and I could check in really early because I had no where I could go and I had my 7 month old with me.

The bed was a bit hard. I couldn’t figure out the TV (I guess I could of asked for help) some channels worked and some didn’t. Maybe different couches, I’m a big girl so it was a snug fit haha

Stopped off here on a road trip from Adelaide to Coober Pedy. Port Augusta is the obvious place to break your journey andwe were nod disappointed with the accommodation here. We only stayed one night and found the room comfortable and well equipped. In particular, having been on the road for several days already, it was great to have a washing machine and Tumble drier in the room so we could do our laundry. We'd been warned that Port Augusta is a bit of a dodgy location but found it to be a pleasant and friendly place and had no worries walking round in the evening and next morning. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

We were on a road trip and many times before we left home I thought about cancelling our stay in Port Augusta, well I am so glad we did not. The accommodation was great and having a washing machine was a blessing, we had a view of the water and felt very safe in our gated community. The young staff were amazing and were only too pleased to help. Port Augusta is a gorgeous old town with many beautiful buildings. Would stay here again. Yes the town has social issues but we still felt safe.

Very functional cabins in a convenient location next to the small city centre of Port Augusta. The cabins are well designed to pack a lot of facility into a relatively small space and I enjoyed staying here.

The complex is a little identikit and lacks a bit of atmosphere as a result; the pretty forbidding fencing around the area is a bit of a turn off too, but probably understandable as the city centre of Port Augusta is a little sketchy. However, you'll have a decent 1 or 2 night stay here, which is about as much time as you'd want to spend in Port Augusta in any case.

Convenient location and the room was very nice. The beds were comfortable, and the towels were good. The kitchen was well equipped and had a sink, which was helpful. The bathroom was a good size and also had a washer and dryer, with powder, which was very useful as we were travelling a long distance. Over all a pleasant room and well set out. A bonus was we were able to order food from local restaurants and it was delivered to the room.

It advertised as a gated, safe environment, but unfortunately the gate was in operable on the day we stayed. The parking was tight too and a space by the room not guaranteed.

The location is a bit out of the way. I parked my truck in the parking lot next door because it would not fit on the premises. The staff were very friendly and professional and competent. The site is quiet. Security the best I’ve seen. Excellent lighting in public areas, transit areas well paved and garden areas well maintained.

The entrance gauze door was difficult to slide and the key was difficult to get in the lock. A passkey card would be a lot better.

Lots of space with separate rooms for kids. The unit had a washing machine and dryer, which was very convenient for us after travelling for many days without access to a washing machine. The unit was next to the water, with easy access to the river walk path.

The room was next to the pool, which was quite noisy. Didn't matter during the day. People leaving the next day (morning) were noisy. Better noise insulation from the front door would make this place perfect.

Stayed two nights. Within walking distance to shops. Secure parking and surroundings. In-room combination safe for valuables. Bed was comfortable, large fridge and washer/dryer in the apartment. Nice view of the water from large window

Our room was starting to show signs that a reno is needed. Bathroom looked well used, paint chipped off skirting boards, couch, although comfy enough was looking grubby. Free Wifi may have been included but it was very slow.

The apartment complex was modern and well set out. It was private and quiet. The location was great. We could walk out onto the park by the estuary. A large shopping centre was next door with a good supermarket. A petrol station was also next door. It was easy to pick up the highway when leaving Port Augusta. Facilities were great. The outdoor BBQ was a bonus. Loved being able to sit out on the balcony.

great location close to the main street, supermarkets (Woolworths and Coles), subway and walking distance to the local pubs, room was reasonably priced cost and the room was a decent size decent car parks

noise early in the morning coming from the cleaners pushing there trollies on the walkways and roads. no were to wash my hands when sitting in the BBQ area had to walk back to the room to rinse off.
