Marlin Waters Beachfront Apartments

Literally right across the street from the beach swimming enclosure and also great restaurants are just a minute walk away! There are also shops, massage places, etc. and the bus stop to Cairns is also just a minute walk away. The apartment is very spacious, large kitchen, washing machine and drier, etc. Rhonda from reception was very helpful in booking tours. All in all, just an excellent base for exploring the region and combining beach relaxation with excursions.

Our apartment gave us an elevated view of the beach and the Coral Sea, the sunrise woke us up everyday for an early morning walk. Everyone in Cairns seems to get up early to walk or swim or other activity. Palm Cove has a long beachfront with lots of choice for any meal of the day. Our apartment was well equipped for cooking so we enjoyed a cooked breakfast most days. The Coles supermarket at Clifton Beach was only a few minutes away by car, so it was easy to load up the full-size fridge with everything we needed. Marlin Waters is right on the beachfront so we would start our day on the beach and then take up a a position by the pool, where deep shade is available. The managers of the site (Rhonda and Chris) are friendly, helpful and informative and contributed to our enjoyment of the facility. We will return.

Marlin Waters are a great option for travellers who would like to self cater and have more room - the cost is at the lower end of Palm Cove accommodation which is reflected in the decor & facilities which could do with an update. Having said that the location is amazing in walking distance to loads of restaurants and directly opposite the beach.

The decor & facilities could do with an update - The apartment we stayed in could do with a thorough deep clean also.

I loved the location - with a balcony overlooking the beach, under the paperbarks. Could sit there at night and listen to the water lapping on the beach. Didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but it seemed adequately stocked with pots and crockery. The kitchen appears to have been recently renovated. Lots of restaurants close by.

The shower head is really weak, and the shower itself is small. I understand why because the bathroom also includes a washing machine and dryer.

This is a perfect location at Palm Cove directly in front of the only beach that has the netted area to keep the jellies out. Also has restaurants nearby.

They could have informed me earlier about the room key being in the lockbox and what the lockbox code was. When I arrived the office had just closed. Fortunately I was able to find the owner.

These apartments are 1 bedroom with full kitchen which give you the flexibility of eating out or in. Also at the pool there is a clean BBQ. Sandy beach just 20 metres from the front door in an area patrolled by lifesavers from 8 'till 5 and protected by a off shore net or you can swim in the onsite salt pool/spa. Eateries close by and next door is the Surf Club with a happy hour and a take out bottle department, all options covered. The property is located at the right end of town.

Fantastic location right across from a patrolled beach and next to the Surf Club. The apartment was well appointed and very comfortable. All my needs were met. Covered parking. Private pool and so close to cafes and restaurants. Lovely to stroll along the water front or sit and relax on the generous balcony.

Good sized apartments with everything you would need. Excellent view of the sea and great location with plenty of bars and restaurants within 1 min walk. A/C worked well and the kitchen was very very equipped. Modern apartment with Netflix on TV

pool looked a little dirty but the beach is 50m away so not needed

Great location especially for families & view was awesome. Staff helpful. Heaps of walking tracks. Local coles etc. walking distance. Local bus stop close by.

Found a very old dead gecko on the roller blind and having to pay for beach towels. Fortunately the lovely cleaner gave us two as I was unable to get in contact with reception.

The apartment was well-presented, homely, comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a short or long stay. Car parking was convenient and the lift access was handy. A great location near the swimming enclosure, jetty and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. Friendly Managers and neat and tidy grounds.
