Seachange Coolum Beach

Seachange Coolum is in a good location with a path to the beach not too far away. The pool facilities are terrific - clean, warm and nicely landscaped. The complex is not too big, so the pool area was never crowded. Location wise, it is an easy walk into town.

The unit was clean, but perhaps a deep clean every now and then would be beneficial. Some clear instructions on how to work the television/Foxtel would have been helpful. Finally, the kitchen equipment needs an audit, for example, knives need sharpening and there is no large saucepan for boiling pasta.

Great for families with pool, spa and ideal location to the beach and town for shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Convenient for all amenities.

Single bed mattresses not comfortable. Teenager slept on couch. No towels for the pool; not ideal using bath towels for both inhouse and activities. Towel refresh should have been offered and provisions for bathroom should have been provided especially if staying more than 3 nights (toilet paper and bodywash for 4 people not enough).

The apartment is spacious and well-positioned. The bedrooms are a good size. The kitchen is well-equipped. Sitting area with TV (netflix+foxtel). Nice pools with one long for laps and one warm pool. Suitable for big families.

It's across the beach but a bit further from Coolum's main beach with lifeguards. The apartment was not sparkling clean with some dust and sand on the floor. Lights in the bathrooms were a bit dim. A good apartment overall.

Good location, and the apartment was very spacious. The hot tub was a great addition and was the main reason we chose this apartment.

The only real downfall to the apartment was the cleanliness. there were some sticky dirty marks on the tiles and the main bedroom was very dusty. we also grabbed a spare pillow out of the wardrobe and the pillow case had obviously not been checked for a while as it was very dirty and even had what looked like blood spots on it. A few drinking glasses would have been nice too there was heaps of mugs but only one drinking glass and a few odd plastic cups. the only reason I chose not to complain about the cleanliness was because the couple running the place were just covering for the weekend and had just arrived.

Being mid-Winter I loved the small heated pool and spa (that's one of the main reasons I booked this holiday accommodation) The whole pool and sun patio area was great and open from 7am - 9pm :) Being a short stroll to the beach through some lovely bush was nice too. I really liked that my apartment had a bath & a shower :)

A tea towel in the apartment would have been very handy as dishes and cutlery are required to be washed, dried and put away on check out. My apartment had 2 verandahs which was great but they had street views.

Great location, comfortable rooms and beds, good layout of the apartment - the bedrooms feel private, good for sharing with friends or extended family. Our room came with a private rooftop which was a lovely bonus.

I thought the request to wash and put away all dishes and take out all the rubbish upon check out was a little odd... Especially given that the apartment wasn't serviced throughout the stay and the garbage disposal was in a car park, not even on the apartment level. Was a bit of a hassle for the price you pay.

Pool was excellent. Very clean. Managers Richard and Michelle were very helpful and friendly. Great service.

It would have been good to have more tables and chairs /BBQ in the pool area. A little more light by pool at night would have been good too.

We enjoyed using the lap pool and spa, plus parking our car in the car park was very easy. The location was close to the beach and shops and nice easy walks.

I am used to a larger more comfortable bed, even though the one in the unit was adequate.

The two pools were lovely and super clean and well maintained! A seperate spa would have been welcome but we had a rooftop spa so didn't bother us

Rooms were tidy and clean but a touch dated. Distance to town was okay but there are better located resorts in Coolum if you don't have a car

Great pools, apartment is definitely fully self-contained. The little electric BBQ was a nice bonus to have.

We were under the impression that the rooftop facility was incorporated to the apartment (meaning you could access it directly from the apartment). That was not the case. Maybe it was written on the fine print but we did not see it. So if you are keen on that rooftop (which without the SPA is really not much useful) I would make sure to check whether or not you could go there using the internal stairs located inside your apartment or you have to get out of the apartment, go up a level or two using the lift, then open the rooftop door with the apartment key so you could enjoy it.
