Breakfast was adequate. Location was good but I could not walk to the venue close by due to the rain. It wasn’t the Hotel’s fault.

No lift. I wasn’t aware of this when I booked and if I had been I would have booked elsewhere as I have knee issues. Someone had turned the television off at the wall switch and I had to stand on a chair & reach in behind to turn it on. Very dangerous considering my age and disability. Perhaps a previous occupant was responsible as the green ON light was distracting when trying to sleep. Air con was also on 17 degrees - far too cold.

A very comfortable and large older style ensuite room on first floor of the hotel, very central location close to Manly Harbour and a number of bar and dining options. Very comfortable bed. The management team very helpful. Ample on-site can parking at the rear of the hotel.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, so no dining facilities. However, that is only an issue during daytime construction hours - very peaceful in the evening and at night ! TV reception was OK in the evening but on most channels was problematic in the morning.

Booked for an immediate check-in. All the staff were friendly, helpful and perky. Room was bigger than we expected and very clean. Bathroom products/brand were nice.

We had a few heavy suitcases and had to make several trips to get them up the stairs as there's no lift. The shower was clean but quite small. No frills in terms of toiletries.

Excellent location for all marina/boat business. Did not have breakfast. Dinners were fine. Staff was excellent. Pillows were too big and firm for me (small female). Suggest choice of thick and medium pillows.

Pillows all the same and only suited to broad shouldered husband. I woke up with sore shoulders and headache.

The location to the bay . The room was big and the beds comfortable. Great that the shower was a walk in as I have arthritis in my knees.

No elevator so it restricted me coming downstairs until we left the next day. The fact that your site didn't mention that the accommodation is not suitable for a person with ambulatory restrictions is a concern..

The staff were really good. It was difficult because there was a lot of construction work being done, but this was compensated for with the rate, which was quite generous. The actual room was quite amazing with good old fashioned quality fit out. Nothing spared.

It was upstairs which was a bit difficult with all our gear, but it was a main street hotel, not a motel, so no real surprises.

Well appointed. Clean. Air conditioned. Good value for money. I like that it was part of the hotel and provided easy access to shops, the foreshore of The Bay, food options on the premises as well as other entertainment.

A little noise from bin collection. And sometimes some car park noise.

Great location right in the middle of the Manly village. IGA right across the road and lots of food choices nearby. Nice quiet room.

Hard to know when house keeping would happen as it didn’t happen some days at all.

Even though the hotel was under renovations, the staff member was exceptional, the room was beautiful and the facilities were awesome. We even got $10 off our room rate because of the renovations. Oh and the hot water. Instant. Was lovely.

The stairs only because I don't walk up too many stairs as my legs don't like them but I made it. Maybe a suggestion for the renovations, put a lift in. 🤔

We were nervous about staying at the hotel as we had heard reports it wasn't going to be a great stay, being it was a pub and it was loud and dingy. We were actually pleasantly surprised. The photos did not on the site were not an accurate portrayal of the rooms as they were much better the expected in person. Room 15 was clean and well kept, with nice mattresses, pillows and enough towels for everyone in the room. The bar staff even delivered us food from the bar when we went down and ordered, which was definitely not expected! Coming home at midnight from an engagement party we could hear the music blaring so was gearing up for a very sleepless night, however quickly realised that was from across the road and once in our room, other than our frisky neighbours, there was no noise to be heard. Thank you for the pleasant surprise, we have already recommended it to our local friends, as they were the ones that were nervous for us!

The outlook of the room was ho-hum, staring at a dirty aircon unit that kept flapping around and dead plants weren't appealing, but honestly the least of our worries. I would also suggest getting rid of the green cushions and green throw on the beds, they make me feel uneasy because most of the time I don't know if they could actually be washed, the white linen at least leaves you assured that if anything it's had a good bleach. I'd also have a look at the aircon unit as it was a tiny bit rattly.
