Hotel Bristol Zurich

Location is great ! Quite tree lined street just few steps fr steps from Tram & Bus stop , 3 blocks from Zurich HB (main train hub), 4 blocks from Bahnhofstrasse ( shopping district) etc. Our room in the 3rd floor is big & there is a lift. Staff are wonderful !!!

Location near train station was fabulous. Quiet. Breakfast was good. Room was nice. You have to set your expectations. I wasnt looking for a 5 star hotel and zurich is not a cheap city. Measured that way, it was a success. I would consider staying there again. Not far from uni, either. Zurich is a very compact city. Easily walkable to me, as I come from one of the biggest and most populated cities in the world. My city is lso expensive but I think their food may be a bit more. Only a bit. We beat them in cost of rent and ownership, though. Yay?

If I have to nitpick, one of the appliances for the bathroom malfunctioned but it was at the end of my stay and not a big deal at all. But, again, this is Europe. Space is a premium and Zurich ain't cheap. The breakfast could have had more variety but then I'd say stay at a extremely fancy hotel. It fulfilled its purpose and I would stay here again, be it for business or pleasure. They were very nice and accommodating. Really, I enjoyed my stay and love the neighborhood.

We stayed for two nights in a Superior Quadruple room and it was spacious enough for Two adults and Two teenagers. They have an elevator which took us up to the 5th floor room. The rooms and the hotel were very clean We were provided with fans in the room which were not required due to the cool climate. A mini bar with complimentary beer and sodas were a nice touch. Breakfast was adequate and consisted of Juice, Cereals, Yoghurt, Cheese, Cold Cuts, Breads and Spreads The hotel is conveniently located close to HB (use google maps to show walking path) and the Old Town. The weather was beautiful to walk around Zurich The tram stop is even closer. The staff were courteous and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Bristol Garni.

Perfect location, only a few blocks away from the old town with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. Super close to a large supermarket (coop) and close to the Zurich lake. The room was nice and clean. AC worked great and the elevator worked perfectly. The hotel staff allowed us to check in a bit earlier, which was awesome because we were pretty tired from the flight. They also offered to store our bags if needed. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast is continental and was okay (but it would be nice to have scrambled eggs and toasts and not just hard boiled eggs and croissants). I would definitely stay in this hotel again when visiting Zurich.

We came for so early after the flight. But our room still didn't available yet. The staff try to change to the available room for us. So we can rest after a long flight. Very nice hotel.

The elevator is a bit small if you have a big luggage with you so it can only contain for 2 people and 2 big luggages. Sometimes a lot of customers wait for the elevator at the reception. Another one is we asked for the hot water to drink coffee in the room at the reception so the staff give us a kettle and some of coffee and tea. If you want a hot water you can go at the reception and ask for it becos in the room they don't have it.

Even though it was still quite a good 10 minutes walk from the train station (considering if you are lugging a 23kg luggage), it is still considered very convenient. The breakfast selection isn't fantastic but simple and nice. Room is spacious and clean. If you need to rush for early morning trains(before 6.30am), you can actually request for the hotel to pack the breakfast for you, so you can pick and eat on your way. This is really awesome! Though we didn't know at first and missed the breakfast for the first day.

The pillows and bed were a little too soft for my liking.

Situation of Hotel Bristol was perfect and quiet too. . A 5 minute walk to the main railway station and even less time to the tram central. The hotel was small but ideal for our needs. Spotless rooms , bed linen and clean towels daily ,not to mention the comfortable beds. Breakfast was ample with a selection of meats, rolls fruit cheese . The staff were very friendly and helpful . The Catholic Church is behind the hotel and is well worth a visit .

Nothing really. It s a great hotel for a short stay . The reception was always manned and use of a safe was available free of charge.

Location is good. Very near Zurich main train station. Hotel is 50m from Tram 14 stop. Located at Zurich old town. Lots of shops & restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the bridge, churches & Swiss National Bank. Room is ok, large enough for 4 persons. Friendly & helpful staff.

Buffet breakfast could be better, add more variety. Room is a little pricey, probably due to its location at old town & yes, because it's in Zurich, as expected. However, all staff are friendly & helpful & it's all that matters. Good location, good stay.
