Fabulous lounge and communal family room. Comfortable beds. Staff were all lovely and very welcoming.

We were a bit confused about the ‘bar’ cited under the booking.com facilities. When we arrived we were told the bar was closed on a Monday. On the Tuesday we were told the bar was actually not in the same building but just down the next street and we weren’t allowed to bring drinks to our room but we could have water on room service, which wasn’t really what we were after! A glass of wine in the lounge would have made all the difference. The ‘breakfast included’ was basic but came with a price list of foods you could order to pay for, such as soft boiled eggs and cappuccinos. I’ve never come across this before, either breakfast is included or it isn’t. Our suite was great but the bathroom was in need of a refurb.

Location is nice,and the clerks are very friendly. I stayed here for two days everything is great.

Spacious room (which is hard to find in Europe), the breakout space was excellent and up to date, breakfast was very nice.

Room service is the only missing element but with so many food options on ground level, it’s not a problem.

The family room on the 1st floor was a total bonus, and came in handy when we had jet lag and couldn't sleep at 4am! Breakfast had so many options and was delicious and the staff were so friendly everywhere we went in the hotel. The location makes it easy to put down your bags, get out and explore all of Old Town Zurich!

The room was comfortable especially the bed. Room's light is just right and the room is extremely clean.

We arrived early with heavy luggage's dragged from the train station and were tired and cold. We prefer if we could check in earlier than to wait 3pm. We believe the room is ready but couldn't check in as the hotel policy is to check in at 3pm. However, we were able to rest at the lounge/library with 3 groups waiting to check in. We were handed the key to check in exactly at 3pm.

Loved the lounge room we got to use while waiting to check in, especially that it had a separate kids section. The room was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful. The location was perfect.

Breakfast was underwhelming - not a lot of choice and not as high quality as I expected to live up to the rest of the hotel.

Location, cleanliness, rooms, extras like the library with the espresso machine and water, the breakfast, and the proximity to the train and bus station.

The only negative experience I had was that one of the employees who ran the breakfast was a little nasty.

Property was centrally located. Walking distance from the train station and five minutes from Lake Zurich. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping in this part of the old town and one could easily access the other side of old town via multiple bridges. Bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets and linen. Good water pressure in the bathroom and plenty of closet space. Staff at check-in were friendly and helpful and the breakfast team were pleasant and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again as all services and transportation were close by.

With the windows open it can be very noisy late into the night and/or early into the morning.

Once we get in the hotel, the smell of the entrance fought me, the staff are so friendly and polite. I loved the lobby with the living room they have. I would recommend it to my friends and family.

The A/C in the rooms needs to be improved

The location is perfect to explore the city centre of Zürich, The staff, in particular the Reception staff, were wonderful with regard to hospitality and welcoming attitude.
