Great value. Provides what you need to explore Lugano. The bus stops going both directions are just a few steps from the front door. And it has A/C, which was awesome with the heat wave while we were there! Bed was comfortable and room was clean. They let you do your laundry for free as well!

The bathroom could have used more towel hooks to hang towels and the shower curtain could maybe be wider to keep water from wetting the floor, but these are just nitpicks and I only list them by way of suggestions for the management. The room was great otherwise.

There was a kettle on the kitchen counter in our room which we could boil hot water for coffee and tea . The fridge in our room worked well. i had bought some popsicles from the gas station across the street and put them inside the fridge. The windows of the building are soundproof. It doesn’t matter if the room faces the main street, in the evening i slept well, I didn’t hear any noise from the street. The air conditioner worked good in our room during our stay. The bathroom is equipped with a bidet same as in Italy. The shower was great for my standards. The shower water was hot, and the water pressure was strong and stable. The hotel provided us with free digital cards for public transportation that could be used in the city of Lugano.

Friendly staff, great location and very reasonable rate! I can't imagine anyone complaining, as the facilities were clean and the location was excellent. I had read reviews with people complaining about no TV in room. Really!?? The amenities are provided with the reservation information. I can't imagine needing a TV in Lugano, but if you want one in your room, you can always pay more and go somewhere else. I would rather have the cost of the room lower and use my time enjoying my visit instead of watching TV.

The staff were welcoming and the room was comfortable. The location was handy and within walking distance of the lake, centre, station and funicular. The free/discount travel pass was good although we did have to pay a "tourist tax" when we arrived.

Although we could see the lake, our room overlooked a busy road, with traffic going by all through the night. It also took a while to cross the road every time we headed out. There was an extra charge to have crockery and cutlery in the kitchen area, there was no ceiling light, only a side lamp, so the room was a bit dark, and there were only 4 coat hangers.

Location was great, just a short walk from the lakeside. great value for money; they had a laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryer which was excellent as we needed to wash our clothes as we were half way through our journey. Free transport around the city

Pretty much this is an appartment, you even have a kitchenette so if you are budgetting on food, this would be a great option. Rooms are spacious and the surrounding areas are very quiet. A great option as well if you want to be close to the lake for a walk, also the bus stop is just across the street and the train station is about 10 minutes on bus.

The elevator might be somewhat small if you are carrying a lot of luggage.

Great location, just 4 stops from Lugano center. There is a bus stop just opposite to the hotel. This Guest House is a value for money choice in Lugano. Clean and tidy room, friendly and professional staff during the check in. Plus an amazing offer with Ticino Tickets and free public transportation in Lugano area.

On the listing, we saw some photos with kitchen equipment but we didn’t find nothing, just a kettle. For us wasn’t a big problem cause we were planning eating out every day, but maybe some people they want to cook something light during the stay. Also I would love to have a breakfast choice even with extra charge.

Wonderful location in the neighbourhood of El Paradiso within walking distance of Lake Lugano and the boat dock. Our particular room was on the side and it did not have any view. It appeared some in the front had a much better view. One casual Italian/ pizza restaurant in the quiet area with a lot of ambiance and good food. The staff was friend and accommodating.

Good position, really close to the city centre. A bus stop in 2 Min walk, a supermarket and bar (especially it will save you on Sunday when almost everything is closed and you'd like to have breakfast or some snacks). GuestHouse also provided us free Ticino tickets (free bus and some discounts to funicular and other see sights), which is comfortable. A nice view from the terrace. The bed is comfortable, while the pillows are so-so, but tastes differ. The place is highly recommended for price/quality.

The room was the perfect size for a single person, the bed was really comfortable, I liked a lot the separate room for clothes and shoes, I liked the huge bathroom, so there was a lot of space. Additionally there was this kitchenette, a fridge and refrigerator, some tea and hot chocolate on the table, just 👍. The lobby is also exceptional with the machine for drinks and a machine for local experiences tickets, as well the seating situation. I received a Ticino ticket for the public transportation (and during the summer season it gives you also some discounts), which takes you e.g. directly to the train station. Migros is also in 5 min..the city center is 15 Min on foot. Paradiso and Monte Bre are also close by.. and for that price you just get something exceptional!

What was a bit disturbing is the bad isolation of the walls - you just hear everything! So take some ear plugs if you are sensitive. I have been wondering at the beginning why there is no TV in the room, but afterwards I was thankful not having to listen to the TVs from the other rooms..
