Hotel Montana

Excellent location, easy to find from the train station. The reception staff were very helpful and advised on what trams to take to visit the various parts of Geneva. The hotel made contact with us regarding our Geneva passes (free transportation) which was very helpful and useful. Lots of cafes within a close walking distance. The beds were comfortable enough for a short city break.

I believe the rooms could become quiet stifling in July/August. It was Ok for us, the room had a stand up fan which was useful since we were fortunate to have great weather during our stay.

I wanted a room close to the Cornavin station, with a fridge in the room, and got exactly what I wanted. My room had even a small balcony. The bonus, though, were the reception staff. The airline lost my luggage and Thomas at the reception helped me communicate with the company that (eventually!) delivered my suitcase - I was extremely grateful for his help.

My room went out to the street. I actually really liked it, but it could have been too noisy for some. Breakfast maybe could have started sooner, but I suppose 7 am is OK for most.

Room-great. Great bad. Very clean. Great stuff. Delicious breakfast (loved the fish, yoghurt, bread, butter, coffee-I think I might say everything). Not far from Geneva Lake. Great for morning running. Center. Close to Gare de Cornavin. Ooo, and coffee maschine.

I love to sleep with open windows... There were something noisy happening outside 3/6 nights))) But it can be easily solved by closing the window.

Great location, the rooms are comfortable and clean. They provide a tasty and varied breakfast and catered for gluten free. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Not the fault of the hotel but the classic rooms do not have a balcony as stated on Booking.com they just have a window. I was disappointed and the man on reception did his best to accommodate me but they were fully booked. He was able to offer us a room with a very small balcony which I appreciated and took.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly esp. Lina and Soead. The rooms are spacious and clean. The cleaning staff very friendly. The hotel serves a very good breakfast with coffee, 3-4 types of bread, juices, eggs, yoghurt, fruit etc. Staff in restaurants very friendly The hotel is 3 minutes walking to the train station Gare Cornavin with trains, busses and trams. UN 15 minutes away. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood and also stores. The Geneva Lake with the Jet d'Eau is 10 minutes walking. Rooms and shower etc and towels very clean. Bed pleasant. Staff is very friendly. They even assist in warming-up food.

The location closr to the train station and boat tour was remarkable The free public transit ticket was another bonus Us of microwave in breakfast room saved us as we bought in grocery store and heated for supper The elevator was well used by us

Hotel is conveniently located less than a 5 minute walk from the main train station. Due to train delays from France, we missed the usual check-in time but they allowed us to complete the check-in process at a hotel across the street. The room was clean and simply furnished. There was a fan, and tea and coffee making facilities.

During the summer, it might be more comfortable to have air conditioning. In addition, bulk (rather than single use) toiletries would be more eco-friendly.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Room was basic but had coffee machine. Netflix was a saviour on really rainy days.

My only suggestion would be to make the coffee machine in the breakfast room available to guests all day. Other hotels provide this service with take-away cups as well.

Room 67 is a nice room with a balcony which oversees the roofs of the neighbourhood. Hotel very convenient located next to the train station within an area of restaurants and bars Nice bathroom

The room could need a smaller renovation (a bit of paint is peeling off the ceiling)

Everything was great, super nice staff, amazing location two steps away from the train station and all public transport stops, very good cleaning and amazing breakfast. I liked the place a lot and highly recommend it.

The price was a bit high but in line with another places in Geneva.
