Eastwest Hôtel

A constantly (positivley) surprising hotel, full of lovely little perks and services. We requested on of the quieter rooms due to one of us being a troubled sleeper, and were pleasantly surprised at the silence provided by the room, despite the street noise etc in the middle of the day. The provision of water, mini-bar stock, toiletries, bath robes and bath slippers were all a highlight, so often missed by other hotels. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable that we've ever slept in during a trip or holiday abroad. We slept in late one morning due to the long day previously with early flights etc, and were pleasantly surprised to see our room cleaned (and as tidy as when we first arrived) when we returned from our lunch and afternoon out. Oyunaa's cleaning service of the room was fantastic, and it was so lovely to come back to re-straightened towels etc. The luggage storage service offered for pre/post check-in and check-out also makes the logistics of travelling much easier. Faultless. Wonderful service. Very friendly staff.

There was no reference on our booking to a 100CHF deposit upon arrival; this was not a problem, but it would have been nice if this was mentioned. The hotel was nicer than the street it was on, but it was still a good area. We were not asked how our stay was when we checked out. However, none of the above would stop me from staying here again.

The hotel is excellent, the room is large and very comfortable. The staff is exceptionally kind. When we asked for accommodations at breakfast they did everything to our complete satisfaction

At breakfast you should add quantities because what they spent is running out quickly, although they seem to have tried to fix and improve day by day. Besides that - everything was really great

We were met at reception by Tariq, he couldn't have been more charming or helpful. On learning it was our 20th wedding anniversary we were upgraded to a fabulous duplex suite which really set our special weekend off to an excellent start. The style of the hotel meets with the east west name of the hotel and is very relaxing and intimate. Breakfast was relaxed and of good quality. we would not hesitate to stay here again.

nothing major but a card/menu explaining how to order hot breakfast would have been helpful. we were not in a hurry but I imagine that were you on business this may have frustrated.

The location was great, 5 mins walk to the lake which is very convenient for my morning run. There's also a bus stop right infront which connects well to rest of the city. I really enjoyed my stay there, the bed was comfortable and waking up knowing that the very delicious and crispy croissant is waiting for me for breakfast makes a real good start to the day. Big thanks to the very friendly and helpful staff and I hope to come back again soon!

Only one I didn't like and that was the gym. The dumbbells they provide is very typical of a boutique hotel, pretty but not practical. I needed the workout to burn off all the croissants I ate, but otherwise it's fine 😅

Located a 5min walk from Geneva main station (which itself is 3mins per train from Geneva airport) and a stone's throw from the lake, surrounded by restaurants and endless miles of lakeside walks, shopping, transport, culture, mountain views. The staff gave us a friendly welcome, the reception area and bar feels 'luxurious', the facilities are top quality, the room was a great size with separate dressing area and innovative design giving the room a spacious feel - my only regret is we did not have more time to stay longer!

The staff members are all friendly and helpful, the room was totally clean every day, the bed was quite comfortable for your good sleep, there was enough space for luggage and working with PC on the desc. The location is convenient, you can choose many restaurants around there, easy walking distance to the train station and the lake. Many supermarkets are nearby, and the most wonderful thing for me was that there was an umbrella ready in the room so that I could use when it rained. Another thing I liked was that all the taxis I used recognized this hotel by just telling them the name so that I didnot need to show them the address or Google map ;-)

Not a big issue but you might hear some walking sound of other rooms or notice if somebody in another room drops something on the floor if you are sensitive to noise. Since the floor is wood as far as I recognized, you also might hear your own walking sound, which was not an issue considering the classic atmosphere of the hotel, but some people might get distracted by this.

East West is a 4 star hotel, but deserves 5 + We we’re received with class by Emelie at the front desk . A valet took my car to the parking ( public) . The hotel has a Boutique feel to it , from the lobby to the bar/resto and the outside terrace . The room was modern and very clean . We we’re 5 (walking) minutes away from the water front . Our stay was in June, just before the crowds. The staff is awesome at this hotel and would definitely stay there again . Bobby .T Montreal.

Parking is expensive, but it’s expensive every where in Switzerland.

We loved the decoration, the hotel is very clean, beds are comfortable, staff is very friendly and helpful. They explained how the Geneva tourist travel cards work and they helped with restaurant reservations and recommendations. The room was well appointed - slippers, bathrobes, Nespresso machine with daily capsules refills, free water bottles. The location is good - two minutes from the lake and less than 10 minutes to the train station

This has nothing to do with the hotel but you may want to avoid the street in front going towards the train station, especially at night. If you know the neighbourhood you know what I mean. There are plenty of ways to go to the hotel avoiding the less pleasant areas and the hotel itself and the street it is on feels perfectly safe.

I stayed here about 10 years ago and decided to return. It is still a great place: very well-located, big and clean rooms (at least mine), and excellent breakfast. My room was on the fourth floor with windows facing the inner courtyard - hence, very quiet.

The interior (colour schemes and furniture) is starting to get a bit dated - perhaps time for a renovation soon? Also, while I know that this is Geneva and there has been inflation and all, the room was indeed very expensive.

The staff especially Ismail (evening staff) who made us feel extremely welcome and provided great advice on places to visit. The room was very comfortable (superior double). Location is perfect for walking around city. Winter Garden is lovely to share a fondu in. 15-20 minutes taxi from airport (30chf) Would definitely recommend

Everything was great just had a little wait sometimes for breakfast options to be refreshed (bacon, sausage, avocado on toast, juices).
