Hilton Madrid Airport

Excellent room, spacious, super comfortable and luxurious. My mom, brother and I were able to fully rest after very hectic days in Europe the previous days, with no disruptions at all.

Even though is called "Hilton Madrid Airport", it is not so close to the airport. You still need a car or shuttle. Nothing wrong about it, but something to have in mind for planning. Also, and a very silly thing, but the water bottle had a metal cap that we were completely unable to open, haha. We arrived at midnight so it seemed pointless to call someone from reception for that purpose, but yeah, we went to bed a little thirsty :P

Beautiful facility. Seemed to be very new. Room was very modern and up-to-date. The pool area was very nice with the exercise room with it on the first floor, but open to the outside. We appreciated the airport shuttle as we trained in from Barcelona and needed to fly out the next day. Used the shuttle both times. Large one too because there were a lot getting on it to catch flights in the am. Leaves every 1/2 hr. We also ate at the hotel as there is nothing nearby. Had a great meal and pretty much the same pricing we found elsewhere in Spain. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pleasantly surprised how nice this was for an airport hotel.

The hotel was perfect for our stay - we wanted a nice comfortable location nearby the airport. The hotel had everything we needed and wanted. There was a pool, workout room, and even a little kids play area in the lobby. We also enjoyed dinner in the restaurant the friendly wait staff. Lastly, the breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in a hotel and was perfect before a long day of travel.

The water features outside of the hotel on all of the floors were very swampy looking. I wish they had not been full of muck and slime, and had healthy vegetation as intended.

Staff at check in were friendly and efficient. The public areas of the hotel were nice and the part where we stayed, the conference area was pretty empty. The room was a good size, quiet, and was clean. I requested 2 beds and would have preferred 2 queens but the twins were good enough for one night. We did not have breakfast in the morning but it looked like a good selection. The shuttle to the airport was every 30 minutes and very efficient.

The hotel advertised a "free shuttle downtown" which did not exist. A cab downtown was about 25 Euros. The cab from the Chamartin Train station to the Hilton was also about 25 euros. The tap water in Madrid is not drinkable and the hotel provided a large bottle of fancy drinking water that was free if you were a Hilton special person but 5 euros if you weren't. I thought this was tacky. They could have provided a 50 cent 1.5 liter bottle of drinking water from the grocery store to all of the rooms for free as I have seen done in other hotels.

Clean, modern rooms - very comfortable

Despite having spoken to the front desk on the phone and sent notes through Booking.com, there was some confusion about our reservation both at check in and check out - so I'd suggest just ensuring the property is 100% on what you need and bringing a print out of your correspondence (the staff were very nice and constructive, so credit to them, but the mix-ups shouldn't have happened to begin with). Also it's a 15-20 minute bus ride to the international terminal, which felt longer than what 'Airport hotel' implies.

The Hilton Madrid Airport is available by taxi using a reasonable fixed tariff from outside Madrid Barajas airport. I have stayed twice. The rooms are stunning, comfortable beds. Good shower, separate bath and bidet in my bathroom. Phenomenal self service breakfast with lots of choices. Dinner good quality but pricy. Transit hotel bus to airport free of charge. The review is based on this being a high quality airport hotel ideal for a stop over between flights. There isn't much to do in the vicinity of the hotel.

Nothing not to like if used as an airport hotel. If I was to quibble, the balcony isn't really suitable for anything other than a breath of fresh air. The balcony is narrow and contained by a rail with a steep drop below.

The location, close to the airport, is ideal for a one night stay. The staff was very efficient and nice. The room decoration, size and quality are impressive. The shuttle system is efficient and comfortable.

The design overtakes the function: the very nice bathroom floor is very slippery and could cause accidents. The light switches organization is, well, disorganized, and difficult to locate. The tile floor without even bedside carpets is surprising, and, again, too slippery

Location is great if you want to be close to the airport. Shuttle service is really convenient, and on time. Breakfast was great as well.

The room was not properly clean, to be more specific the bathroom. we found hair in different places, but the tub seemed that was not cleaned at all, soap spots, hair, wet. We would have asked to have a different room but we were so tired after the trip and little disappointed we couldn’t use the tub and relax.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the bathrooms are absolutely breathtaking. The indoor pool are is absolutely gorgeous but the pool is too cold. The staff is very helpful. It's close to the airport and the free shuttle is convenient.

The description says with balcony and indeed it has a large 'window' but don't expect a walk out balcony because it's mega tiny. The indoor pool is too cold. While the hotel is close to the airport its a bit far from the metro to the centre.

Good location for early, international flights. Large, quiet comfortable room. Excellent restaurant on main floor- Reserva. Free Airport shuttle in the morning.

Taxi ride from airport to hotel was expensive >20€. Mirrored walls in bathroom but no full-length mirror outside bathroom. Bathroom had glass walls so difficult to sleep if someone was in the bathroom with lights on at night. Limited USB ports - instead had old fax and phone connections. Pool closed at 8pm.
