Hotel Villa de Barajas

Great location, just two block from Barajas Subway station and only 5 min to Airport T1,2,3 and 4 in subway. And finally 30-40 min to la Gran Via. Around you will find smalls restaurants coffees and supermarket, also a Burger King. The staff were great very kind in our arrive, everything was perfect. The room was clean and ready in our arrive, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and with a good size. The room size is small, but well is not a hotel resorr, so if you're idea is stay in the hotel, maybe this is not and option. We just used to rest and visit Madrid. And return in the night. The neighborhood is quiet, so you can rest without problems, also very secure for tourist.

The breakfast was reasonable and as good as you'd expect for the price, which is a compliment, as a lot of cheaper hotels offer below par food options. The room was was comfortable despite its smaller size, as it made use of the space it had. The balcony made a lot of difference, and helped to make me more comfortable on a warm and stuffy night. Overall I was very impressed with the value for money on offer

There wasn't particularly anything negative to report. Everything was exactly as expected. The pillows could have been a bit more comfortable but it wasn't a major complaint

We loved the location close to the airport. We just spent one night before our flight. When we checked in, the room was ready and clean for us. The bathroom was also clean. I also liked the fact that there is an elevator. After checking in, I took a walk around the area and found many bars, restaurants and shops within a few blocks, and we ate at a couple good ones directly across the street. Breakfast was included in our room rate and it was a very good buffet with all the fixings: eggs croissants and breads, bacon, coffee, tea, various juices and cheeses Going to the airport the next morning, we took a cab to terminal 1 for 7 euros.

My room looked a bit tired but was perfectly functional; it had everything I needed and everything worked as intended. Location close to the airport (except Terminal 4) as well as places to eat and buy basic groceries, which are open even during the siesta. The reception books airport transfers for you - the cost (20 Euros, payable to the driver directly) is quite expensive for the distance, but it removes the stress of having to call a taxi very early in the morning for an early morning flight.

Bathroom could have been cleaner (there were hairs on the floor and in the shower when I checked in). Despite its close location to the airport, you still need private transport (eg by using their airport transfer service mentioned above) if you need to get to Terminal 4, which is a fair way away, before 6am when the public transport is not yet running.

Hotel Villa de Barajas is very close to the airport yet we never heard a plane overhead. We stayed here both on our arrival to Madrid and the night before we left. The staff is very friendly. You can walk to restaurants and shops. The room is somewhat small, but that was OK. We would stay here again.

We parked in their underground parking on the 1st night and it's very hard to park there unless you have a very small vehicle. We parked outside on the 2nd night as we felt comfortable with leaving the rental car outside. On the 2nd night, Christmas Eve, there was a party outside and noisy neighbors next door which we could all hear pretty well. I'm sure this is hit and miss and worse on a holiday. The 1st night was quiet and we were on the street side.

Very nice, clean and cozy room, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely delicious breakfasts. Hotel really close to a metro station, only 1 stop to the airport. Grocery shops, restaurants and children´s playgrounds in the vicinity. A spacious Juan Carlos I park, suitable for walks or jogging not distant from the hotel. Really loved the place and would love to come back again.

We loved everything,, the hotel, the small quiet town, the staff. Rafael was extremely helpful and friendly. Gave us tips on best places to eat. So easy to get to the airport one stop on the metro. Several bus stops were less than a block away when we wanted to go into Madrid. Hotel also had a great free breakfast. We were on a 3 week trip and this was the best part of the trip. Restaurant Comidas Caseras across the street had incredible homemade food. Also Bar Madrid a block from the hotel had great Latte we went a couple times a day.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. We loved Villa de Barajas the hotel and loved the town of Barajas

Comfortable rooms, and everything was ready when we arrived (13 of us!), even though we arrived a little early for check in. Staff were very helpful, including special needs like medicine storage in the refrigerator/freezer, and arranging taxis to the airport. Proximity to the the airport was very helpful.

The elevator is small, but that's often to be expected in a hotel in Europe. Helpful to know so you can plan accordingly if you're trying to depart when everyone wants to use it! :-)

We needed to overnight somewhere near the airport that can be easily reached by metro and somewhere we can eat breakfast. This hotel is exactly what we were looking for, and in addition it is not expensive, it is very clean, staff is friendly, shower is working. We could let all windows wide open and we didn't need AC to cool down the room temperature. In how many hotels can you do that? It was really a surprise for us, and we will return again if we need a place to stay near the airport.

Inventory is shabby and it needs replacement. Some noise comes from the bars across the street, but it's nothing seriously disturbing. I wish the management could organize airport shuttle in the future, since they are close to the airport.

This was a smart hotel. Our room was nicely decorated and a good size. We had a nice ensuite bathroom and all we needed for a comfortable stay. There was a lift. We had good air con. The room faced onto the road, but we weren't troubled by any traffic noise. We were delighted to be able to check in quite early

We stayed in Room 102 and the noise from the plumbing was unbelievable. At times it sounded like we were directly beneath a large waterfall. It was only a short stay and I didn't want to make a fuss, so I didn't complain. Otherwise it was a nice hotel and we'd stay there again.
