Madrid Airport Suites, Affiliated by Meliá

My family and I had to stay over in Madrid just for one night, and needed a place near the airport. This place was very clean, and everyone was super helpful! Airport shuttle included which was amazing and got us to the airport on time with no issues. We left so early in the morning, they even gave us some fruit to take with us! The beds were comfortable, good shower, perfect for what we needed. Definitely recommend for a family, had a very cute little sitting area aswell with a TV included, and privacy to the rooms. All in all, great experience, would go again!(:

The hotel was very nice, the room was confortable, very good breakfast and good price for dinner.

At the airport we had to wait almost 2 hrs after arriving from our flight because the hotel bus didnt show up earlier. It was supposed to go by every 30 min but the wait was simply too long.

The room was nice and spacious. Everything was clean and the personal was friendly.

However, to reach the hotel via phone to get an airport shuttle was quite difficult. And the main purpose is for most of the customer to get to and from the airport to the hotel.

We decided to pay for this hotel for the shuttle service. After landing in Barajas, and calling several times where they informed us the pick up was arriving, we had to pay a Cabify to get there since it was almost midnight and we had a 8 hour layover. 1 hour waiting for a shuttle and staff anserting “it’s coming” is not acceptable at all.

I loved everything about the property . I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff . There was a staff member in particular called Beatriz at the restaurant reception who went out of her way to be accomodating . She made us feel extremely comfortable . explained about the banquet , etc .Her friendly attitude was very welcome as we were both exhausted after a long trip and a little ‘foggy’ I loved the decor which was funky and welcoming . the suites were great as they provided additional space to relax . the free shuttle Service was also great as was the driver ( just lovely) and the reception staff were also lovely and informative.

The member of staff who checked me in was incredibly helpful. Due to road works at the airport, I was unable to find the shuttle bus driver. I spoke to Kate and she rang the driver and was able to relay my exact location to the driver. I felt that she managed that situation very well. When I arrived at the hotel, Kate was very welcoming and helpful. She offered to store my larger pieces of luggage in the storage room to save me having to carry it all up to the room. She also pre-booked a place for me on the shuttle bus for the following morning.

I have nothing negative to say about the hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem I encountered was with the airport. I arrived late at night and the area outside the airport was not well lit. If you are arriving at Terminal 1; you will need to exit the building and immediately turn right. Follow the pavement until you reach the end. You will notice a paved strip in the middle of the road. On one of the pillars there is a sign with the names of the hotels and their telephone numbers. This is the hotel bus stop. It is very difficult to find the hotel bus stop at night because the airport does not provide any signs and the area is badly lit.

The property had a bedroom and lounge room which was good to be able to relax outside the bedroom.

Planes fly over the hotel until past 1am which makes it hard for you to sleep at night. The connection to the city requires a bus and metro which is about 30 minutes. The buffet was horrible but there is nothing else to eat around there. It was 16€ an adult and 8€ a child. which is over priced for the poor food they had.

Close to the airport which is what we basically wanted. The staff were friendly and helpful and the shuttle driver was on time BUT he didn't help us put our luggage into the van, which came as a bit of a shock. But, a young gentleman came and put our luggage in for us. Breakfast for me was wonderful, but a bit expensive for what I could actually eat. I am more of a senior eater, less portions. I guess my eyes were bigger than my tummy! The room was beyond our expectation for the amount we paid. It was spacious and never did we feel crammed.

The only thing I can say is that they need more clothes hooks in the bathroom to hang our clothes on. Other than that, we don't really have any complaints.

The hotel is very clean comfortable beds, quiet, and near the airport with very little airport noise. If you just need to sleep and not doing anything else this is a great stop over. Staff at front desk are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is located in a warehouse and logistics area. It is not easy to walk to supermarkets, and the area is limited for restaurants and no small shops. Quite isolated from anything except what the hotel offers or what a few other hotels in the area may have.. It is possible to get to a small suburb town and large supermarket using the local bus (1.30 euro/trip) or taxi. Note also that you cannot walk (there is a major highway with no walkovers) to the metro or train lines but must also take a bus or taxi. You can get to the airport using the hotel shuttle, yet it is small and fits only 6-7 people so it fills up very quickly.make your request for a shuttle during your booking!! You will need to use the taxi (or the more complex bus/metro option) to get to the airport from this hotel.

Nice place, rich breakfast buffet, clean place, nice and helpful people - stuff.

These things are just little things: I would appretiate a little bit more attention during checking, letting me know information about stay, when the restaurants open, if and when I can enter swimmingpool, if I need to use a shuffel bus to the AirPort. The receptionest was very nice, but in hurry and I had to “catch” him and ask for what I need. But for the price of the hotel it was ok. 😊 I was travelling alone and the shuffel driver saw me taking very big and heavy suitcases and did not support me to pick it up and put it inside the bus. What was good, he properly waited on me to find info, which terminal I need to approach. And took care of it.
