Claridge Madrid

We were very happy with everything overall, but it was your staff that stood out. They were very helpful, very attentive and seemed to anticipate our every need. They explained things well and always had good suggestions for transportation, things to do and when we suggested things they helped us with that including learning for their next guests. They checked in after our trips and remembered where we had gone and what we did. Really, we can't say enough about your amazing staff. We will stay again and recommend your hotel to others.

That we couldn't stay longer.

The staff here are amazing! We felt so welcomed. Had an issue with our key on the first day and the bell boy was so friendly and personally came to the room with us to help. Everyday they also delivered an iron straight to the door for us in less than 5 minutes. The room was also exceptionally clean, didn't see one bit of dust even under the bed when I had to get my phone that dropped underneath. Will book again for next year.

Could not reach the HDMI cable behind the TV to plug in my fire-stick and watch Netflix. But this was not a big issue we as we were out most of the day. Make sure you check trains beforehand as one of the main lines used to get to the hotel that takes you to the city (6) was partially closed, so we had to get a bus replacement the rest of the way.

Absolutely delighted with the service. The hotel staff was extremely helpful at every stage! Special mention to the staff at the reception and Najib who took every step to make me feel comfortable. I asked for a late check out and they did everything in their capacity to accommodate my time. The location is perfect. The metro station and bus stop are only 3 to 4mins walk. The rooms are very comfortable, extremely clean and well maintained. I took the breakfast one day and loved the spread. The bakery items were very tasty! I will definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Madrid and will stay here myself if I ever come back!

Nothing to dislike!

Fabulous hotel, immaculately clean and well looked after. The staff were super friendly, efficient and very helpful, we wouldn’t hesitate in staying at the Claridge again. The location is great as it’s so near to the metro and there are plenty of shops nearby for anything you might need.

There is nothing not to like about the Claridge.

We were on the 13th floor so very good view from the window. The room insulation was excellent, althogh the hotel is on a busy road we couldn't hear any noise from the traffic. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. It was very easy to catch the bus from across the road to go to the centre and visit the Prado and other major sights of the city.

Convenient location, nearby underground station and within walking distance to some of Madrid's main attractions. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. I loved the shower; it was great!! Free WiFi is available at this accommodation. Staff were really helpful, they even carried our luggage to the room. We didn't try the breakfast but there are coffee shops and bars nearby the hotel.

The only thin that I will say is that there was no coffee and tea facilities in the room; but not sure if they can be available if you request them (so it's a really small thing).

The biggest value of this hotel is its wonderful staff!! Fantastic people, very easygoing and helpful. Decent food with satisfactory selection for breakfast. But the restaurant, especially for lunch, is excellent too. Excellent localization, very good communication - the metro station is just on the opposite side of the street. Only thing that might be problematic is that Conde de Casal is quite busy and noisy roundabout, lots of traffic and emergency signals. But this is capital city, so this is obvious.

Basically, the only problem which I had was terrific WI-FI which was losing signal and breaking connection constantly. Very annoying if you stay in the hotel for more than couple days. But this is detail.

Location is perfect and very convenient with metro station. Breakfast is well made. Room overall OK, Reception perfect and general service and support is done properly.

My room was a bit small. The place itself is noisy due to intense traffic and even being at the 8th floor, you can ears traffic. Probably a better window / courtain insulation could help better. Also the bathroom stuff was a bit minimal for a 4 star in a large capital city.

Very comfortable room, good AC, excellent bed, covered parking, helpful and friendly staff. You can have a simple but good breakfast at the bar of the hotel for half of the price of their regular breakfast.

The hotel is next to a busy road. We stayed on the 5th floor, still we could hear the noise from the traffic (especially sirens).

Its a top class hotel with great staff and cleanliness. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had requested for a quiet room and they provided us exactly that in the corner of the floor. The staff was also very knowledgable abou the city. The metro station is right in front of the hotel.
