Pavilion Hotel Durban0

Check in time was late 15H00.let say you are coming from far with a bus, you arrive at 5H15 in the morning but you have to wait until 3pm, what if you don't know anyone in Durban, you can ended up getting wrong people who might rob you.

First floor had a lot of noise , didn't relax well, people were knocking in my door

The location is great and easy to access, the food was amazing and customer service is excellent. I enjoyed my stay, though it was short because of work. Thank you guys!

Maybe adjust the check-in hours, 3pm is kind of late

The place is neat and the location is good

We saw some cockroaches at the bathroom.

The staff was very friendly, the service was good, the place was clean and the room was very nice, i requested an extra bed and that was sorted before my arrival😁 for overall experience at the hotel i give 8 out of 10.

The fact that the is no back up power or rechargeable lights when there is loadshedding. And the noise from other guests was too much but that i know was beyond the hotel control bcuz adults should know how to behave but it was too much. And the curtains need to be washed. But beside the curtains the room, toilet and shower were really clean.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast and comfortable bed.

The curtains were dirty and moldy. It was not a joy having to open and close them.

The availability of clothing irons. Had to wait more than an hour for one. Reception fones not answered.

The location of the hotel is next to the beach so I loved that..the staff was friendly..the room was super clean..loved that there was parking space

The was no electricity between 10:00 and midnight..I think the hotel should look at getting generators incase of load shedding for the convenience of the customer

I loved the room, it was beautiful. The restaurant had a great breakfast option and it was delicious too. For the amount we paid the room was a 10 out of 10.Housekeeping was very kind as well.

The checking in process was unpleasant. We got there at 14:50, gave the receptionist the ID as well as the name and surname the booking was made under. She couldn't find the booking. I gave her the confirmation number and pin as per booking.com. She still couldn't find the booking. After more than 10 minutes of no updates, going to the backroom and making a call - we were eventually checked in. That was the low of our stay. I am happy that she thanked us for our patience and offered an apology

The food at their restaurant was delicious and the staff at reception and the security staff were friendly. There was an issue with my booking which was sorted out promptly.

The housekeeping lady who was responsible for my room (121) for my entire stay treated me like a child! She never changed my linen for all 4 nights that I spent at the hotel and didn't clean my toilet and shower and all this after asking me to wait at reception for her to finish cleaning my room. I spent a total of 7 hours outside my room waiting for her to finish only to find the above-mentioned dirty.

Breakfast was lovely. But I would suggest one that's half portion. The breakfast I had was alot. Very friendly staff.

Too much of noise till early hours of the morning. Sum guests dont consider other guests that are sleeping. I would suggest night management do random floor walks.
