Beach view,which is a walking distance to the beach, nice food(Breakfast,lunch & Dinner),swimming pool which also was clean and neat with nice resting chairs next to it

At times many guest comes for Launch/Dinner and you wait very long to get your order or waiter to help, advise to add more staff in the kitchen and waiters for specifically guest coming only for resturants

A KZN gem! The staff went the extra mile to treat us. Wendy and Lee’s service was world class. I highly recommend Canelands Beach Club for couples who want to celebrate a special occasion. The view is breathtaking and the food is tops. Special thanks to NK and Jabu for settling up a romantic table for our anniversary dinner. Fabulous.

Unfortunately the best rooms with a sea view aren’t accessible for someone who has difficulty with stairs.

The location is perfect! The pool and views are the best! The room was very comfortable and our private upstairs deck was breathtaking. We decided to have dinner at Canelands near the pool, and it was a great experience.

Canelands has opened the dining and deck area to day visitors, which absorbs all the staff effort and attention. When we arrived, I parked near the main door to offload our bags as parking is outside the gate. While I went to park, my wife who happens to walk with a stick, tried to carry some bags inside. No-one even looked in her direction, only waking up when we had carted all the luggage to the desk! It was much better after sunset once the crowd had left, we could enjoy the pool and deck once again! The facilities are a little tired, in need of a revamp to bring it in line with what we paid!

Food was delicious, but the winner is the sea view. We sat outside for all our breakfast.

We booked for 3 days but the last day got cancelled, this was an absolute inconvenience especially because we were there on a short holiday. We booked Canelands because we loved the place, and this was a huge disappointment for us. However, they did their best to book us an alternative venue, but it was not the same.

Views from the balcony is just perfection. Great location. You cannot get any closer to the beach. Close to the tidal pool and swimming beach. breakfast was good. dinner as well. Friendly staff.

Menu options are quite limited and expensive. Our room cupboards were quite damaged. the chip board kept coming loose. hinges were very rusted. Don't expect that from a place that you've paid quite a bit to stay at. its quite old in the rooms. an update of floor plan would be refreshing.

The location was stunning and the views are exceptional The breakfast was wholesome and staff are extremely friendly , competent and efficient. The main ala carte menu could use more sea food as it is a coastal venue

The main menu could have more variety The deck pool could have marginal solar heating especially for winter Blankets for dinner for the lovely evenings There is not much else I feel that needs improvement in the short term

The beach view is amazing . The service from the staff is exceptional.

The room was too small for the price I paid. The bathroom handles came off. The shower was cold on the day of arrival and the shower head was faulty, didn’t enjoy my baths. Breakfast and dinner were very mild. The spa is very expensive. This was my second stay at the property, don’t think I will be coming back.

Everything was perfect and the staff were super friendly and accomodating.

Although the hotel and especially staff are awesome, it took a while for the food at dinner and breakfast to be brought to our table. Also, the bathroom situation was a bit weird. In the garden usit the toilet was only separated by a small, short wall (not in it's own little room.
