Holiday Inn Express - Warsaw - The HUB, an IHG Hotel

Very modern hotel. The lady that checked us in (Małgorzata) was super friendly. We booked a king room and had plenty of space in my opinion, there were hangers to hang clothes and space to put your luggage. We even had an iron and ironing board which was a nice surprise since you can’t always find them in 4-5* hotels! There were a lot of options for breakfast, even vegan options. There were a lot of free tables at 8 am when we went to eat but around 8:30 it became crowded, so it’s better to eat early if you don’t like waiting.

I didn’t like the shower because of the shower head, you have to hold it while showering because it ‘hangs’ too high, you also can’t shower with two because of that. The lady at the breakfast area (pony tail - bun kind of thing) was not friendly to us, but super friendly to people who came without a mask for example. Everybody got a friendly good morning/ goodbye, not us. It was two days in a row. I don’t know if it’s because we’re young? The lady with glasses and the young man were friendly. The room was loud because our room was on the side of a construction site, the working hours were 6 am to 10 pm, didn’t mind it being loud so late but was woken up by it both mornings. Of course not the fault of the hotel but I’d rather have a room on the other side next time. 😅

The staff is very nice, the building new and very modern, everything is clean and in the best condition. You will enjoy a fabulous breakfast, complimentary coffee/tea throughout the day, you can hang out in the HolidayInn lounge or you can choose the Crown Plaza bar. They have a roof top bar for which I recommend a reservation in advance. You will also find a Biedronka supermarket, McDonald's and a Thai bistro in the hotel underground. We enjoyed an absolutely perfect stay.

Design of the room was great, we felt comfortable and enjoyed a great view of the Warsaw skyscrapers. The breakfast was very good and the staff was nice. The location is great, there is a metro, bus and tram station right next to the hotel making it simple to discover the whole city.

There is no proper wardrobe in the room, just small compartments for the clothes. For a weekend stay, it was quite bearable, but it would definitely not be enough for a longer stay. The half open shower is not practical, it is impossible not to wet the bathroom after using it. Breakfast was practically the same during the three days, a bit of more variety would be appreciated, plus we were missing olive oil. The taxi company recommended by the hotel reception was not professional, the driver did not open the door for us, did not wear a respirator and tried to charge us higher price than standard. Very disappointing.

The breakfast was great! There are lots of options for a halal diet. The room was super clean (I had a small issue with the sheet, which they chanhed immediately - nothing too bad). Location awesome! Mall is right there, bus station, tram station - so well connected. The staff very professional.

- The restrant (not sure if it belongs to the hotel chain) but for dinner didn't have any pork or alcohol free options. It's not a critique since it's their cuisine, but would be great if there was something for us as well. - Paying in Euros is possible, but we were charged more because of the exchange commission. Would be good to inform about it in advance. These are not negatives, more like advices from a fellow colleague.

We are always very happy to come back to the hotel and enjoy the stay every single time. It offers so much for a 3-star hotel, likely more than many 4-star hotel in other European capitals.

Everything was perfect – a spacious room with good sound isolation, A/C, and comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and with a lot of options to choose from. Complimentary ice cream, water, and coffee at the lobby was a nice touch. The view from the hotel bar Roof was spectacular & cocktails were great. The hotel is located next to the metro stop and a grocery store is in the build just next to the hotel. Also, Food Court Norblina with a lot of restaurants, cafés & shops is in a walking distance. The hotel is located in a safe business area.

Everything that could need, comfortable bed, good breakfast, treats in lobby (popcorn, ice-cream, fruits, coffee and lemonade), not so far from visited objects, taxi prices is low depending that it is in capital, but there is also public transport (Metro, tram and bus stop) just outside the hotel. Hotel staff was really nice, helpful and polite. Highly recommend.

Because there is just shower wall in shower water is running a little bit over bathroom floor, we paid for room with view but at the moment there is construction area outside and it isn't the best.

I arrived at 02h00 in the night, registration been smooth and fast. Breakfast been very good, quality of product also looks good. I have taken some part in vegan area, some in normal area. I didn't check the cost of charging station, but this will be done at next visit. (planned next week)

Hotel own parking zone is very small, no indication if it is full. My car is EV6 SUV, and some persons didn't park correctly their big German SUV, then it had been very difficult to go out of hotel parking, to park in normal parking. But, this main problem,. it is more related to people behavior at main root cause.

Amazing hotel! I liked everything very much. I travel a lot, so I have lived in many hotels in Europe. This is a very cool 3*! * Great staff. At the reception we were met by a friendly and hospitable girl from Belarus and she told us everything very nicely. The room was cleaned perfectly. The restaurant people at breakfast were smiling, polite and helpful (my daughter was happy to get small surprises after every breakfast and after check-out). * Breakfasts. Very cool, they have everything. Even vegan menu. Breakfasts are definitely of a higher level than 3*. * Room. It seems small, but very comfortable, everything is there (even an iron and a board). Decoration - everything is new. Cleanliness is excellent. * Location. Very good, close to the center and at a convenient transport hub. Taxi in Warsaw at a great price. Everything was great, we would love to stay again.
