hotel was suppose to have called and scheduled a taxi for me 730am but never showed up

The Hotel Villetta is a clean and tidy property that provides all the amenities you need for a short stay. I cannot express my gratitude to all the staff members. We were caught up in the air delays on Monday. I managed to book the Hotel Villetta late in the afternoon and they kept the reception open for us to arrive. The next morning they provided a lovely breakfast and let us stay in our room way after check out time while we tried to sort out what we would do next. Unfortunately they were fully booked the following day so we had to move hotel. They then let us stay on the property while we waited to hear from our travel agents providing us with coffee and cold bottled water while we waited (about 4 hours). Finally they sorted out a local taxi to take us to our new hotel.

Not a lot to do outside the hotel.

The place has everything you need for a stay. It is clean and near the main road. Oscar and his nephew Flavio are very helpful. Breakfast is varied though not extravagant, according to the place that is a family business. Bathrooms are clean, prvided with everything you need.

Check in and check out times are stated when you book and they are strict. Since we are told in advance, no complains are due. So be careful to figure out that into your schedules as there are no back ups to provide access to your room. There is a shuttle service from Fumicino that takes quite a while to arrive, but dropped us off at the hotel.

Coordination of airport taxi, so we all paid less.

We needed a place to sleep before flying out of Rome the next day. The property is not located in a scenic area, but it is reasonable for the price, and a short walk from the marina. The service from the reception and the breakfast was superb. The outside area is small but cozy. There is a shuttle to and from the airport that is very convenient.

There's nothing to complain about, but manage your expectations, consider it a motel more than a hotel, perhaps. For the price it is fine.

The attendee was very friendly accomodating to answer for places for dinner and made us so comfortable at breakfast. We were walking distance to some wonderful seafood restaurants along a river. Transportation with taxis was perfect to and from the airport. Continental breakfast even included items for my glutin free needs.

Queen bed and twin bed - no room for night table for the twin or outlet available. Bathroom facility was small - only one person at a time for sure for sink/shower.

Staff went out of their way to accommodate - ordered taxi for the next day, arrived on time; locked out late at night due to our fault, staff came back to hotel to open our room. Close to airport allowed us to turn in rental car night before. Breakfast was provided but we left too early in morning to enjoy. A/C, hot shower. Perfect for a final day stay close to airport before heading home. Parking not an issue. Exceptional value.

Everything to our satisfaction. A coffee maker in the room would be nice.

The proprietor was superb. He checked us in, helped with our silly questions, booked our return transfer to the airport the next morning and served us an excellent continental breakfast. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the Rome airport. The room is modest, but clean. Works fine for a one night stay and actually quite spacious, but not Ritz like either. The price is way too low. We paid up to 5 times the price during our trip for rooms that were no better.

The initial feeling of the neighbourhood is sketchy. The room is fairly plain with little decor. But the aircon worked great, the bed was more comfortable than we expected, the pillows were excellent. Room could have used an iron and ironing board.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location in the pleasant old town of Fiumicino, and in a short walking distance from the touristic area along the Tiber riverfront quay known as the porticciolo (‘little port’) where there are a lot of wonderful seafood restaurants. Alessia the Villetta hotel owner can advise you which to go to but Posto Al Sole is one of the most popular. And a taxi to the airport is quick and convenient.

The steps up to the front door might be a problem for some people.

AC was noisy inside the room and the large unit out side. Made it difficult to fall asleep. My arrival was problematic. the hotel is closed for m1 t o4 pm. I wrote when i made the reservations and said I would be there around 3, would that be ok. I understood it was. others were waiting as well. i was asked why i did not call. I CALLED, BUT I TRIED. THERE WAS NO ANSWER. I WAS THEN TOLD I NEEDED ANOTHER PHONE NUMBER. It was now too late, i had already waited in the very hot sun. Awful, and was concerned about being sick. Breakfasy not great. coffee machine , not so good. And minimal offered.
