Air Rooms Rome Airport by HelloSky

The location of this hotel was incredible - right at the Rome Fiumicino airport. We took the train from Termini to airport and followed a couple "people movers" to the hotel from the train stop. It is minimalistic in appearance - no real lobby but places to sit, eat out of vending machines or order pre-cooked meals from their "restaurant". But it is clean, it is quiet and it is handy when you need to fly the next morning. It is "2 people movers" from the airport. If you want a restaurant, you have to take several more "people movers" to the Hilton that is on property. We actually did that for dinner and then returned to the Hello Sky to go to bed. The rooms had everything we needed for a one night stay, were clean, comfortable and quiet.

The choices for dinner are so limited once you are at the airport, so eat before you get there or go to the Hilton for food.

Location combined with price made this the best place for us to stay. We had aLOT of luggage and moving it around Rome for a two-day stay would have been cumbersome and difficult. Being able to leave our bags here (at the airport) and then travel into the city center was perfect!

The room never got dark. The black-out blinds are far enough from the actual window that light pours in all the time. Water flows out into the rest of the bathroom since there is no door to the shower.

The location is amazing, so close to good food options and getting into security for flight. Love the hot water pressure in the shower—so needed when traveling. Very comfy beds! Very helpful front desk attendants who speak English. Black-out curtains and our room was very quiet.

We noticed some wear and tear in the bathroom — stained faucet and some dirty grout in the bathroom tile. Late at night some of the crew were very chatty in the common area and that took away from the ambience. Loved having a water kettle, fridge, water and coffee in our room — would be wonderful to have some creamer for the Americans and Brits. Lastly, our shower drain held the water a bit. Noticed changing the water pressure helped but could work better.

I liked size of the room and it was clean Bathroom was good too, not too small or too big Comfort 10/10 Staff was friendly and welcoming and I even called them because I couldn't find the hotel at first and they were helpful My flight was late at night but anyway l checked in bc there was someone at reception and I was really glad because most hotels don't allow you to check in late at night

I it was hard for me to find the hotel I was walking for one hour around the airport because I typed the address in maps and it showed the street next to the street where hotel was In the end I found it It was my fault too but maps sent me to other street

The location was ideal for me to catch my morning flight out the next day. Basic needs were provided for so I didn't have to unpack the items from my luggage. Namely, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap and shower cap. The room was small but enough room for me to organise my luggage and feel comfortable. The instructions I got on how to find them were clear and very helpful. The out-of-office after that wasn't good though, refer next questions answer.

Asking a question to then get an automated response that this message centre was no longer active was very disconcerting and confronting though. I emailed my question to the address they gave and didn't get an answer. After a harrowing experience with two of the apartments I rented during my travels, not having staff readily on hand to answer my question made for an unpleasant travel experience until I got there. Don't block your paying guests from being able to ask a question and receive an answer, that's not appropriate let alone for the higher end fee that was paid for the room.

Location, Location, Location....we had a very early flight out of FCO airport in Rome and this hotel is in the airport terminal. It is a lounge and hotel for the airport. The accommodations are very modern and futuristic. It is extremely convenient, comfortable, clean and excellent. They have breakfast, beverages for an added cost. It is very expensive, as you are paying for the location and convenience to the terminals, but it is so worth it as you can relax the night before with less stress since you are steps away from you flight plans!

It was very expensive. The coffee machine did not work in the morning. It is modern and futuristic-like experience, but it is still uniquely Italian and sometimes things don't work and there is no sense of urgency to fix them!

Short walk from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and very short distance to the car rental booths and parking location. This hotel is Pet Friendly and VERY convenient for anyone looking to rest after a long flight or during a lay-over. They were also willing to accommodate a very early check-in for a nominal fee which I did purchase. It was so convenient I booked a second night looking ahead to my return flight! If you do have time to head to central Rome, taxi's can be accessed very easily from the Arrivals lanes at either Terminal 1 or 3 and cost ~50 Euros in each direction. The ride can take ~30-45 minutes, or you can also opt for the train if you wish which is also conveniently located nearby. I did purchase breakfast which was very conveniently located in the lobby and very affordable with a wide range of snacks, drinks, and light eats. The secret here are the great showers! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Obviously the location is perfect if you are having an early flight out of Fiumicino. I was in an upgraded double room. The sheets were crisp and clean, the bathroom had excellent amenities. My room had a hot water pot for coffee and tea. The staff was wonderful and the food was surprisingly good consider it was prepared from frozen

My room on the ground floor was rather noisy with traffic. You expect to hear planes but not traffic and people noise. Also, the window shades were inadequate so the room was too bright for sleeping. I would suggest actual darkening shades. I also felt it was overpriced at 230€ despite the convenience

Rome was the first and last stop on our first trip to Italy, and being able to stay at a place close connected to the FCO airport was incredibly convenient. That way, we were able to ease our way into this new country rather than having to figure it out right off the plane. And the fact that we booked two nights there instead of one when we arrived proved providential: I was flying in from the USA and my gf was flying in from Peru. I was supposed to arrive at 6 pm and she at 11:30 pm, but due to airline problems, I was stuck in the USA an extra day, so I didn't arrive until the morning after she got in. After we got settled, she let me know she had been waiting to see if I wanted the included breakfast, and even though I had had breakfast on the plane, I never turn down the chance to eat good food, and the food at HelloSky was certainly that! We didn't spend too much time at the hotel, but suffice to say that our rooms were clean, basic, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive.

During our first stay, we could not open the safe in our room. We were provided a key, but then we found that the safe had no keyhole. We also discovered that the TV had picture but no sound. Our shower was the kind that has half of a window guard keeping water from getting into the bathroom, with the rest of the shower open to the room. One morning, for some reason the bathroom floor got flooded, despite the fact that we both took normal showers. We reported these three items to the front desk, so I imagine they fixed them.
