ibis Carcassonne Centre - La Cité

Location was great - not far from the new part of the town and the medieval town. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Wasn’t expecting much for the price and due to some reviews but was really pleasantly surprised. Staff are brilliant, lovely and friendly. The young girl who was working breakfast this morning was such a hard worker making sure everything was replenished. The staff on the desk were helpful and friendly too.

There is nothing that could be better - really pleasantly surprised. Didn’t know what to expect as was a last minute long weekend trip but Carcassonne is a fabulous place, clean, safe, lovely people lovely place. The hotel was in a great location, near to the airport shuttle at the Dome, easy to walk to all landmarks. The Christmas lights in the garden in front of the hotel were lovely and the Christmas markets in the centre. The hotel staff were great, breakfast was good, the rooms were clean and beds super comfy. Would return

This is a budget hotel and so it did meet our expectations. The location was perfect for our one night stay being between the train station and the Cite. We came from the Airport by bus and the nearest stop was a short walk from the hotel. Air conditioning in the room was quiet and cooled the room down at a very hot time of year.

The room size is tight. We requested twin beds and indeed the beds were made up separately, however the space in the room meant that the beds were not actually apart. The public areas are very warm with no air conditioning. Beware of what appears to be a shortage of taxis. Allow plenty of time if you need to be somewhere on time.

Great location... Just alongside Pont Vieux Bridge and 15 min walk to the medieval walled city Lá Cité but also just a 10 min walk to Place Carnot in the new town. Staff really friendly and helpful.

Rooms and bathroom are very small but you really should not spend time in your room on a visit to Carcassonne.

the rooms are tiny, but you shouldn't be sitting around in the room when Carcassonne City Center is just a few steps away. a short walk up the road you'll find the walled city as well. The staff were fantastic - all of them from the front desk to the folks that jrp the place clean!

The breakfast was good & included freshly squeezed orange juice. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. The room had lots of facilities. The location was very convenient.

The room was quite small. The decor was drab & depressing. The tv only had BBC news in English language.

Great location and value for money, beautiful area right next to a lovely tree lined plaza. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful throughout our stay and when we were unable to get a taxi to the airport the receptionist took us .

Couldn’t fault this hotel in any way.

The staff were amazing and attentive, lovely people I'm general, the location was 10 mins from everything and the Hotel was spotless!

The rooms are quite small, if you are not comfortable in smaller spaces this might not be the best fit for you. The pillows were also a bit difficult as they didn't really have any support, but the bed was comfy! The rooms were also quite dark

The Manager at the reception desk was so nice, friendly and helpful, made me feel very welcome in the hotel. The breakfast was very nice and there was a great selection of food options.

Staff helpful and welcoming. Buffet Breakfast had large choice Location was 10-15 minute walk to medieval cite, train station, airport bus drop off and collection.

The room was a little small but very well furnished, the location of the hotel is excellent and the breakfast choice was wonderful
