Location was incredible, decor was lovely, drinks at the bar great quality and well priced. Staff all lovely and warm and very helpful once we arrived

Very limited/no food although close to lots of options. Having to pay €10 per day for the travel cot felt excessive when the room was already so expensive. We were staying over bastille weekend so sure prices were inflated accordingly. Not super helpful in the run up replying to messages and unable to help us book a taxi pick up, however we did this through booking.com and it was great so would suggest that to other travellers in future

Location was superb at base of the old cite and castle just a 2 minute walk to the entrance. Boutique feel to the hotel with nice terrace and garden area and pool to cool off after exploring the castle . Cosy small rooms but comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Private car parking easy to access behind the hotel. The cite fort is free to enter and wander the alleys, courtyards and outside perimeter as well as the cathedral -amazing medieval and gothic architecture and lovely to see as sun sets and castle becomes lit up at night. Many nice spots to eat and drink, some hidden away under tree shaded courtyards and a jazz band was playing on a warm summers evening which was entertaining. The castle and ramparts cost €9 to enter ( can also hire audio guides which gave interesting and detailed history) - can spend 1-2 hours exploring and wonderful views of carcassone from the towers and ramparts. Some fairly steep and narrow spiral staircases to negotiate especially when crowded so need good mobility. Location could not be bettered, hotel very attractive, staff attentive and helpful, very good continental breakfast. We had a classic double room which was totally adequate for our 3 night stay. Excellent Air conditioning in room.

A comfortable chair in bedroom needed Bar does not offer Cocktails…only Aperol Spritz and Champagne cocktail. Missing a trick, a good Mojito on a hot day would have been tempting. I did hear other guests disappointed no Cocktail’s available. The odd whiff of drains in the bathroom…not all the time but ☹️

Hotel in a great location next to the castle walls, great view from bar and breakfast area, easy walk to restaurants, shops and lovely bakery. Nicely decorated rooms. Comfortable bed, good sized pool.

The parking access is over a steep curb and un maintained / damaged path, which my low-ish sportscar would not clear (we had to exit via exit gate) + the spaces in the car park are narrow and with raised curbs, many spaces under tall trees with pine cones. The sun beds and pool area were in need of better cleaning.

it’s location was excellent & staff were very friendly. The ambiance at night was beautiful being overlooked by the castle.

The breakfast was quite poor & lacked variety. Our bedroom was opposite a road with people passing by & our bedroom curtain was see through. The bathroom had a see through window into the bedroom…., so very little privacy even with the blind pulled down , It may not be to everyone s taste.

The staff are absolutely amazing and the facilities are great. When we arrived we were allowed to check in early and the staff even showed us around a couple of suites so we could choose which one we liked. They do go the extra mile. Everyone has a smile on their face and we will definitely be back one day.

Croissants, pastries are not on par with what you'd expect with France. There is certainly a north/south divide on the quality. Don't expect Paris style croissants for breakfast, more like your local Tesco/Asda quality.

A very pretty hotel in the perfect location to visit Carcassonne cite. Great outdoor area (room 16) to sit in your private yard, besides the pool or rest comfortably in the hotel terrace enjoying the view. The rooms are beautifully styled. There was a very welcoming air about the hotel and their team (and family dogs).

It didnt not take away from our experience, however just note that the bed for person 3 was a fold out couch which although comfortable, was inconveniently placed in front of the door and made the room a little tight to navigate.

Lovely location and find rooms albeit small. Pool area was good but cloudy which made us wonder how clean it was. No freshly cooked meals available and only prepared snacks and prepared breakfast. Staff kind and helpful. Hotel dog always around too which was fun. Lovely view of carcassone castle from the bar!

Location was excellent and friendly, helpful staff. Hugo was exceptional.

We tried to pay our bill the night before we left but couldn’t do it. We then tried to pay it at 6.30am as we were leaving at 7am. Again it was refused because they would only accept payment when we handed in our key🤷🏼‍♂️. This was rather annoying and slightly inconvenient.

This hotel is just outside the entrance to the medieval city. An ideal location to explore. It is quiet & provides quality relaxing accommodation. Very comfortable room, light with quality amenities. Breakfast is extra & worth it. Quality produce provided. The wifi is unsecured. Hotels of this standard should provide a secure network. The staff are friendly & helpful.
