Westlake Inn

Clean. Convenient. Comfortable. Walking distance to many things. A good price. Breakfast included with a good selection.

Check in was frustrating. The 2 ladies at the front, 1 talking on the phone. They were speaking to each other and won’t even acknowledge us standing there. 1 stays on the phone and the other walks away and starts sweeping. She is motioned back by the other lady. Then says that we are half hour early for check in but the room is ready, so I guess it’s ok. Like, were they just expecting us to know it wasn’t check in? Were they going to leave us waiting without an explanation. Very unusual and unprofessional.

Location was perfect and very good value for the price. Staff were super accommodating they froze my ice packs for me each day and dealt with a noisy guests dogs barking in the adjoining room the last night I was there. Folks pet friendly doesn’t mean you can just let your dogs bark and disturb other guests!

I felt the room with adjoining door between was not sound proof at all and would avoid that type room in future.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy and the breakfast had a lot of variety (always good when travelling with a gluten free child). Location was great, just off Highway 1.

The facilities are dated and a little tired; a steep staircase with no elevator to second floor (not onerous but not extravagant either).

Easy check in. Breakfast was excellent and way better than expected (bacon, eggs, pancakes, sausages, cereal, toast, etc.). Everything was very clean and looked well taken care of. Friendly staff, plenty of parking, quiet.

Breakfast ends at 9 am.

The breakfast was great. Location excellent for our needs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Liked the door to the outside could park your vehicle right in front of your door. The breakfast room was very clean and well stocked. Definitely stay again.

The free breakfast was yummy. The location of the hotel was right off the highway, did not hear the traffic or other guests. Short drive to Calgary.

Wish there was more room in the bathroom. No place to put clothes, the clothes went on the toilet seat or on the floor.

We had been camping and a storm hit, a really bad one. We couldnt make it back to BC, so we found this to be a great price. We were going to stay at another place but after reading the reviews we decided on Westlake. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. It was so clean, safe and quiet, even as a storm raged outside.

Exceptionally quiet! The best sleep I've ever had in a hotel. It was clean, cool and dark. I think the fact there is no pool resulted in no loud children's sports team running up and down the second floor hall. I will definitely come back .

Breakfast was absolutely excellent! Motel is close to the Road House Restaurant! Restaurant staff is awesome and very friendly and accommodating. Will share recommendations of Motel and restaurant.

Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet. Great price for what we got.

Breakfast was just ok. Typical hot buffet, but not very hot when we went. Fortunately, we took our plates back to our room and a quick zap in the microwave fixed that.
