Comfort Inn & Suites Airport South

We loved the pool area although the hot tub looked a little dirty. The pool was a great hit with the kids and family. The free comp breakfast was much better than expected and the kids really enjoyed making their own waffles in the morning. The breakfast staff was welcoming and eager to please. The rooms were surprisingly clean and tidy.

The staff could have been a little more pleasant. They came across as they were being held against their will. When we arrived, she wouldn't look up at us, we had to knock on the counter to get her attention. When we asked her to turn on the waterslide, she rolled her eyes and scowled. The housekeeping staff seemed distant and didn't express pleasantries. The change/ washrooms in the pool area need major attention. The pool area could use tinted windows at the lower part as we felt like we were on display

Noise from the above room was terrible. You can hear every footstep. I didn't realize that they had a free shuttle service from the airport and took a taxi. The taxi driver took us to the wrong Comfort Inn and Suites! He didn't ask, and I didn't realize there are two in Calgary at the airport (North and South). We finally got picked up by the free shuttle, but it was an extra hour on our day after a 24 hour trip!

Only real complaint we had as a family was the hot tub was not hot. It was like warm. Ice cold water coming in through the under water vents. Hot tub jets did not work except for two tiny ones on the steps entering the tub. Water was hot in the morning but evening it was just a tad warmer than the main pool were the slide goes into. Because of this we will not be staying here again until hot tub repairs have been made. Slide was awsome

This hotel served all my needs. It had free parking for when I needed to park my vehicle while in Calgary. And a free shuttle service to the airport. Upon returning to Calgary my flight was delayed and I was going to arrive at midnight. I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told me the shuttle would pick me up and the front desk is open 24 hours! Also the breakfast buffet offers a great selection of food.

The rooms were spacious. They provide bicycles for free for up to 4 hours. Parking space was provided.

The so-called breakfast consisted of a basket with an apple, some protein bars, activia, juice etc. It was not really a breakfast as per my opinion and should not be advertised as such. We went out both days of our stay for breakfast and ended up spending extra for it. We went to the Bagel Company which was close by. My family was not very impressed with the Sauna as they did not break a sweat in it.

Liked the joining rooms. The air con/ heater were great. The pool was nice and so was the breakfast. Super close to restaurants and shops. Airport quick drive away.

The hot tub was closed after a child pooped in it. Not a reflection on the hotel but more of a reminder that peoples choices affect others and their experience. The show pressure in one of our rooms was terrible. The other shower was fine.

Room was simple and clean. The breakfast was surprisingly nice with the waffle machines and lots to choose from (Fruits, cereals, yogurt...). Very close drive to airport (15 min) to catch a flight

We were a bit disappointed to be staying in a basement room but since it was only 1 night before taking a flight, it wasn't a big deal. the room was a bit dim but clean. The staff were cordial but they could have been a bit more friendly.

out dated in lobby, the room is light with open window. breakfast is good and provide tea and coffee and lemon water all day. The airport shuttle is good, the driver is nice.

Due to Covid, no cleaning for the room. I had stayed 3 days, every day needed to take the garbage bags and dirty towel to outside my room. Everyone needs to go reception to get clean towels and garbage bags like a cleaning lady.

The location was excellent for us because our intention was stay for a night and then take a flight on next day. The room was pretty spacious, comfy and clean, the swimming pool SPA was incredibly relaxing and the tube is a plus for kids. Breakfast could be better but was okay.

Tami at the desk was awesome. She had everything set to go. My flight was delayed a bit and the hotel was further from the airport than I thought. I was super tired and just wanted to get to bed. Tami's efficiency in check in was great. It took me less than 5m from getting to the desk and into the room. The bed was very good and the temperature just perfect.
