Everything! Room was great and had everything we needed, bed was by far the most comfy we've stayed in during our 8 weeks travelling in Europe. Have stayed in more expensive hotels that were less comfortable, very good value for money. Location was superb, a short walk to all the main sight seeing areas but hidden away enough to be quiet. We got a discount card that helped save money at all the attractions we went to see which was fabulous! Good air conditioning and staff were super friendly and helpful too.

Shower pressure not great but bath sturdy and had hot water the whole time - only negative thing I could think of!

What an amazingly beautiful place to stay! It was a true taste of old Bruges, the building was so grand and elegant. Our room was stunning, the beds, and furnishings all high quality and immaculately clean. It was just off the main drag, There were lovely spaces to sit and relax away from the bustle of the town outside. We had a 3 night break with plenty of time to enjoy the hotel and it's facilities as well as all that Bruges had to offer. The owners were such lovely people, so friendly and helpful. We had a great day out exploring on the bikes. I would definitely go back and stay there again, even if I had the choice of Any hotel in Bruges!

Leaving to come home😢

Wonderful, fabulous hotel! We stayed in a double room – the room is very cozy, quiet, big enough for two. Room is equipped with all facilities – wifi, TV, minibar, hair dryer, coffee or tea corner. We didn’t order breakfast at the reservation but made it at the hotel and we were not disappointed. The breakfast is excellent and delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We check in and check out in time that reception was closed, but it is not a problem at all! The hotel owner sent us very detailed mail with all the instructions. The hotel is very close to the center and walking distance to restaurants and bars. I enjoyed our stay there and would definitely book it again.

The Hotel Patritius is an absolute gem, the location is slightly off the beaten track(aka quite), but within an easy10 minute walk the the "Berg," "the Market Platz, "and the "fisherman's Market" so lots of shops, and restaurants. Our room ( #1, ask for it you'll be glad you did, #2 is a mirror of it) was very spacious, very clean, and comfortable, but best of all it was on the ground floor and had a wonderful patio to sit out in the sun and have a bottle of your favorite wine. Breakfast was a very nice "European" breakfast with fresh bread, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit, pastries etc. and they offered an "English Breakfast" as well, great way to start your day.

The shower floor was slippery when wet.

The property is in a perfect position very close to everything but also very quiet

I didn’t like that the proprietor seemed to feel like people were going to rip him off.. more interested in getting your room number than welcoming you as paid up guests. Ideally they should know who I am Or get me to sign in for breakfast, not interrogating me. Also he needs to go somewhere else quite to raise his voice with family/ staff . I found it most embarrassing that he gave them a almost public dressing down while guests were having breakfast.

The hotel is the heart of Brugge, and all central locations are a few minutes walk away. The hotel has lots of character being an old residence. It's a great place for a romantic weekend.

Only real minor issue is the low pressure in the shower, which is not a big problem. I was disappointed about parking and communication on the topic. While I managed to sort out my own parking in the end I wasn't too happy the way the parking issue was handled. I requested parking with my booking which I did about 10 days before my staying. I received a message 4 days before my staying to clarify the one of the parking options was not possible by the other was; I replied, within minutes that I was going for the new option they offered. Perhaps it's my fault that I didn't bother checking or chasing a reply. When I arrived there I found out that I had no parking, and it was what it was because they never confirmed my parking place...

Cosy and charming hotel with old architecture, right in the old town center. Good breakfast, room was small but had everything you’d need. Bathroom on the other hand was bigger then expected with two sinks and a bathtub. Stuff was friendly and welcoming.

We chosed the hotel because of the parking option and only learned about parking unavailability after booking the room which was non-refundable.

The hotel is lovely, from the cozy sitting area to the very comfortable room. The location is excellent. And, all staff we interacted with were friendly.

The small room refrigerator did not work. It is not possible to use both the hot water kettle and the table lamp at the same time because they share a single electric plug. The tub is porcelain and very deep, which would be great for a bath. But, it is not particularly easy to get into or out of because it is slippery when wet and is so deep. A sturdy grab bar on the wall would be a great idea.

I loved the design of the room and appreciated the cleanliness, the private car park with a charging plug and the fact that they allowed our dog to stay 😁 The garden is lovely and it’s within a short walk from the main attractions in Brugges.

It was annoying that we only had one card/key per room, especially for the garden rom where you need a card to access the front door as well. Often a person was stuck outside and had to reach out to the other to come out and open the door. One time even for the neighbour upstairs

The premises are lovely and make you feel welcome. The location is super convenient and makes it easy and a pleasure to visit Bruges. Staff were friendly and accommodating. In particular, they were very helpful answering our request to add an extra bed to one of our rooms. This is a flexible and welcoming place for families. Breakfast is very pleasant too, with good quality ingredients.

The price was a little higher than we were aiming for, but we felt the hotel delivered and made it worth it.
