Hotel Montovani

A charming girl at check-in was very pleasant and helpful, giving directions to various sights and helpful tips, pointing out locations on a map which she gave to us. A very nice start to our hotel visit. A previous review stated "not to bother with breakfast!" Obviously things have been much improved with a very good selection. I enjoyed boiled egg, bread with salami, ham and cheese, followed by pain chocolat! Tea, coffee and even hot chocolate available from an easy to use machine. Thus a full and very enjoyable breakfast on both days of our stay.

No bath, but excellent hot shower in our ground floor room.

Location was great, easy to walk to the center. Free parking not too far from the hotel, simple directions were provided by the hotel. Breakfast was not too varied but enough options to satisfy me personally. Very quiet location, despite being very close to a busy road. Room was clean and proper despite some reviews stating otherwise. Fair price

The floors creaked a lot which could be annoying at times. I'm glad we had a room on the second floor because the first floor could be noisy with people entering the hotel at night.

The location was close and a 5-10 minute walk to the centre. Staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. We were checked in and our room was clean and ready. Breakfast was included in the room price!

I would have loved more breakfast options. The room shower drain was partially blocked meaning the shower didn't drain straight away. We were asked to pay for parking as we didn't want to leave the car on the side of the road 8 minutes away! for free.

the location is brilliant. so close to free parking and the main town centre and not far from the motorway, so getting in is very easy. nice, simple breakfast and friendly staff

The floorboards are incredibly noisy in the hallway and the doors creak. I felt sorry for anyone near the stair doors as they’d have been woken by every person that walked past and had a terrible nights sleep. very good size room and the bed was comfy enough. no air con so quite warm. left luggage with staff on leaving day but when we arrived to pick it up and leave the staff had gone and left the keys for new customers on the counter and our bags just there for anyone to take, which wasn’t great.

The hotel is located around 10-15 min walking of the Markt and the area is really quiet. The rooms was big and comfortable, and enough storage for longer stays. The self checkin was easy and the staff nice and helpful. The breakfast was standard, had all the classic options, everything fresh and warm.

There is no lift available and the stair steps are quite small, might be a bit difficult for those with big luggage.

The young lady in the front desk was very kind and helpful. We found the breakfast very good. The room was bigger than expected, it suited us well for our family of three with comfortable beds. The room was clean and smelled clean.

Our only complain is that the toilet bowl was completely unattached to the floor, one had to be very careful not to till to any of the sides.

The rate quality-price. The location, near the center 5-10 min walking. Staff super nice and kind. Breakfast excellent. Room clean and bed confortable. TV with Netflix. There is a small area with parking for free nearby. You can get details from reception.

Although we knew in advance, the absence of lift when you have a kid with pram. But it was ok

Great location for the city. Comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. Good breakfast with a nice conservatory to sit in. Staff very helpful with advise and guidance. Room cleaned on a daily basis. Even though its in a city there was very little noise.

No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Not enough hangers or places to hang things up. No full length mirror in room although the bathroom mirror was large. No lift so getting luggage up and down the stairs was hard.

Nice room, very spacious. Comfy beds. Location was good, a bit out of the main cite centre but only about a 10/15 min walk to the market square so not bad at all for the price!

Thin walls so if your neighbours are early risers you'll hear them (not the hotels fault though really!). Could be a bit cleaner but wouldnt say it was dirty, its what you can expect for the price.

Location is fantastic and close to the centre of Bruges. Hotel was very clean and staff were very welcoming. Nice selection for the continental breakfast.

No secure car park unfortunately which might be a deal breaker for some. But receptionist kindly explained location of free parking nearby.
