Very nice clean hotel! Nice rooms

We had a room that was freezing, and only got cooler. Was down to 17C and getting cooler... They sent maintenance who spent more than 45 minutes, and we couldn't change clothes to go to the pool, or prepare to go out for the evening. My son went to the desk to complain, and we were "rewarded" with a smaller room with a poorer view. At breakfast - which was nice - the omelettes took forever to arrive.

The breakfast contained a variety of delicious food (including traditional food). The room and the bathroom were clean and spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the 10th floor was also beautiful, as we could see the main buildings which make up the city skyline, from afar (at sunset, so the view was stunning). The personnel was extremely welcoming and helpful, and made our stay a pleasure. The location made it easy to get to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque quickly (approximately 20-25 minutes by taxi), and there is a shopping mall right across the intersection, which made it easy to buy souvenirs and try out some new fruit from the supermarket there. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, so we could easily get to other sights relatively quickly (maximum 30-40 minutes to Corniche Beach, Marina Mall, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, The Observation Deck at 300).

i was there to celebrate my birthday i was hoping to have fun but no pool access and no dinner buffet and no complete amenities for 2 adults and 1 child no conditioner for the hair...

Everything in this hotel was mazing. Our rooms were big and clean. The beds were comfortable. The hotel provided bath robes, toothbrushes, and slippers in the room, which other hotels don't provide anymore nowadays. We stayed here for a night to celebrate our anniversary, and we were welcomed in our room by their lovely surprise. There were balloons, towel art, and petals on the floor. And when we came back to the room after a quick dip in their swimming pool, a delicious cake with a note was waiting on our table. Thank you so much to Marriott Hotel Downtown Abu Dhabi for making our celebration special and memorable.

There was a variety of selection of breakfast menu and the chefs were friendly and malleable to ur desired choice of food. The service was excellent we were greeted every morning by friendly staff. The pool area was lovely and clean and staff were always available with friendly. They tried to make ur stay comfortable and enjoyable. Me and the kids really loved it.

The pool area closed early 7pm could close about 9ish.

The slightest improvement that I would suggest is the water flow in the shower. In our case, the flow was weak and the temperature was unstable (from hot to cold and back, randomly). If that was originally the idea...not cool.

I booked suites and these were huge, very comfortable. the bathroom was so big, incredible!! the staff were very useful and dedicated. the staff remembered from day to day my breakfast order preference. this is very good attention. from check in to check out, great experience . great hotel at the right standards of Marriott.

Great breakfast and awesome location in the city The staff were nice and courteous. I would recommend this breakfast to anyone.

In the room next to mine was a family with a baby who was crying in a loud voice. The walls must have been thin, and I could hear the baby crying and the sound of the alarm from my room. It was somewhat disturbing, but other than that, the overall service was awesome, and the hotel has some great decor and interior.
