Location and the restaurant. Had a excellent fondue

Bathroom was not that clean lots of hair from previous guests on the door and wall of the bathroom. Rest was fine.

Hotel location was very good with easy access to tourist areas such as Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the cashier, Salim, who was very kind to us.

Unfortunately, hotel didn’t have any conditioning system and we were provided with a little fan which couldn’t do much in hot days,so we had to leave the windows open and tolerate the noise which was coming from hotel outdoor restaurant until late.Another down side was not having a fridge in the room which could have been very helpful in hot days. Also,hotel parking is not free for hotel customers.

The location of the hotel is amazing, the authentication of the hotel was amazing as you really feel that you are in an historical place, stuff are very friendly & supportive specially the reception guys, Selim and Dominika, they offer me too many good places to visit with a proper plan

I did not know that there is no Elevator, so I had to carry my bag till third floor as there is no one who could support you like in other hotels which I visited around the world, this they should consider to hire some stuff to support in carrying bags specially for whom cant carry the bags.

Loved the building. The location. The staff. Breakfast. Dinner. Loved that there were passes given to us to use for the public transport (bus stop just up the road). Some of the rooms are a little dated, but I think it adds to the charm. We stayed here over Christmas and it was decorated like a hallmark movie. Thanks for an amazing stay.

The only thing was the rooms weren’t very sound proof.

Wilderswil is a great starting location for the trips in Interlaken / Lauterbrunnen / Jungfrau area. Just a few minutes walk from the hotel is a cogwheel train which will take you to beautiful Schynige Platte and Interlaken lake boat tours are just few minutes drive by car. We enjoyed a very good breakfast and great dinner in the hotel restaurant (tip: try their rösti). Big plus: there are a lot of bear pictures and figures!

While hotel is older, furniture in the room shows the age already and wooden floor was squeezing, we still enjoyed the hospitality and views to the mountains.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The location itself is excellent and so is the hotel. It has personality. The breakfast is also excellent. They also serve good food (dinner) at their restaurant. It had a warm and cosy atmosphere. The view from the room (superior double) was great. They clean the rooms every day.

The beds were poor. It was creaking even if I moved slightly. The blankets and pillows were also ordinary. The shower head jets out a very concentrated stream of water and isn't very comfortable.

very close to Interlaken but out of the hubbub of all the tourists, and they give you free passes for the local bus and train. good size room with a balcony to enjoy the scenery. very nice front desk woman that helped us plan our next day in the area! excellent breakfast with hot and cold options, better than the average breakfast we have had this week in other hotels. very good restaurant in the hotel for dinner.

Squeaky beds, two twins pushed together but including the frames also so there was a gap between mattresses, most hotels have the 2 mattresses pushed all the way together with one big sheet over so you don’t notice so much. Small shower. no elevator

Very nice staff. Good breakfast. Room was small, but comfortable and cozy. Overall a nice place with character. I would definitely recommend it.

There are dark hallways with motion detectors for lights. Not all of them work, so some areas are quite dark, and one of those areas has stairs. Could be dangerous. Also, the key system they use seems a little insecure and they could probably come up with a better way.

Great breakfast and dinners. The food was excellent in a large traditional dining room. All the staff were very polite and helpful and really made our stay so enjoyable. Easy parking and access to the hotel with our numerous bags The room was old world but comfortable with tea making facilities not found in most European small hotels.

Hotel with a lot of charm! Very nice, helpful and passionate stuff!! We have been given super nice room with a balcony and the mountains view. The breakfast was delicious with local products (and with a good coffee and chocolate!). There is a restaurant in the ground floor, really delicious rosti!! Hotel is very clean. Parking at the property.

I missed tea bags in the room :( For us there was not a problem, but there is no lift. The bathroom is a bit too small but have everything you need.
