Swiss Inn & Apartments

This hotel was right in the middle of the residential area in Interlaken and is very closely located to Interlaken West train station (not OST). There are a good number of restaurants, supermarkets, and shopping options at a very close distance. The room was fantastic and the location was so peaceful and serene. The owner Ms. Veronica has been extremely helpful and made us very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay here.

The lack of an escalator is an inconvenience as carrying the heavy bags up is not an easy task. Apart from that rest is all good.

The apartment was great, it was clean and will equipped , I like the location where you can reach the city center in few steps . also big supermarket is nearby (Migros) . Hotel has a free parking, Free wifi. Big thank to the owner Ms Veronica for her hospitality and assistance.

I understand earlier that the hotel is not offering daily cleaning, but they change the towels daily and remove the garbage bags.

Beautiful quiet place. Near to Interlaken West Station, about 20 minutes walk to Interlaken Ost. The reception lady helped to drive me to Interlaken Ost upon checking out. She was such a gem. I arrived super early so I could store my bag and explore. She gave wonderful suggestions on where to go and explained what the schedule for lake cruise and trains were like. I had a room with a small balcony, so cozy to sit outside after a long day with a hot mug of coffee. There was also a small microwave for me to heat up foods.

The place is an old house and I got a room on the top floor which was lovely but also meant I had to take my luggage up and down the stairs. But not too bad and the reception lady helped me out when checking in. Just thought people may want to know this info when considering this place.

Veronika on reception was fantastic, with a great wealth of knowledge and maps to go with it. Building has stairs which was not a problem for us. Only 5 mins away from train station, Interlaken West,, Close to shopping centre and restaurants. Perfect location!!. We only stayed 2 nights and our Room was made up after first night, which was a pleasant surprise as we did not expect it only staying 2 nights. Would stay again if ever travelling through that way.

I stayed in the ‘apartment’ room with balcony facing the mountains. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Truly a home away from home :) The room was well equipped, the building charming with character. every little touch was well thought off. and most of all the staff was so lovely. The lady at reception - I think her name was Veronica, went the extra mile and gave us tips about excursions and everything in the region. I stayed with my parents at this property for a week and couldn’t ask for a better time. the view from the balcony was stunning. it was quiet, pleasant and we would definitely go back there in a heartbeat. Also there was a washer and dryer at the basement which was super handy. The location was super strategic, 5 mins walk from Interlaken West station, and about 10 mins walk to the heart of town. plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

It is a spacious apartment. 😊A good size large bedroom with a huge dresser and cabinet for storage of coats, blankets etc. Next to the bedroom is the toilet and bathroom. The toilet and bathroom are separate rooms, both with a sink and mirror. The bathroom has a tub and shower. There is a huge kitchen, seating & dining area with TV. The sofa can be turned into a double bed. It is a very clean apartment hotel. 👍🏻 The main room's bed is very comfortable. Very good mattress and pillows are provided. There is the provision of comforters and thick blankets too. 👍🏻 There is enough natural lighting in the apartment rooms as there are windows and a huge glass door to the rear balcony. You can sit here or hang out your wet clothes (in the summer). 😀 The scenery from the balcony varies. If you look far and up, you'll see the stunning green mountains but if you look near you, you'll see the rear of other houses which are like a junk yard. 😅 The kitchen is fully equipped. There are utensils of every kind you can think of in a kitchen as well everything a fully equipped kitchen is. So, don't bring along with you any kitchen stuff if you are going to stay here. For example, there forks, spoons, knives including potato cutter and bottle opener, all kinds of bowls, cutting board, soap, sponges, dish cloths, paper towels, electric kettle, induction stove, oven-microwave, fridge, dishwasher, rubbish bin & bags, ladle etc. There is a coffee machine which is a Nescafe Gusto machine, not a Nepresso. There is a dining table with 5 chairs. The outward architecture of the building is beautiful - very country and Swiss as it is surrounded by garden of building of blooms - lavenders and wisteria in the summer. The location is very good as it is about 2 mins walk to restaurants and 5 mins to touristic/busy area. The reception is superb! The lady who welcomed us also offered us a ride to the train station. She is a wonderful lady! 🤩

The friendly lady receptionist Veronica was extremely helpful and gave a lot of tips and suggestions. It was great that we received the Interlaken pass that enabled us to travel on the buses and trains in Interlaken for free and get discounts on some fares. Restaurants, the supermarket, buses and trains were in short walking distance. As for the room, it was spacious and clean. We had a beautiful view of the town and mountains from our balcony, and we could even see paragliders from afar. There were also many USB charging ports for those worried about not carrying sufficient travel adapters. All in all, we had a wonderful stay!

The paper plates and wooden forks and spoons provided weren't enough for the duration of the stay

The location was great, just 2 mins walk from the interlaken west station and 5 mins walk to the city centre. The host Veronica was absolutely lovely, she even picked us up from Interlaken ost when we arrived as we had luggage. The property is very well maintained, the room had everything - kettle, mini fridge, air conditioner and even disposables to use. The property also has laundry services available which was great as not a lot of properties we have stayed in Europe offered that. Would definitely stay at this property again and highly recommend it.

Lovely building and gardens. We stayed in the deluxe family apartment in the main building which was lovely, modern, very clean and comfortable. AC was excellent. Patrick kindly picked us up from the station when we arrived with our luggage and was super friendly and informative about the area. Veronica works on the front desk and is awesome. We had a lovely ferry trip to Giessbach falls and lunch at the Grand Hotel at Veronica’s suggestion, a great day out on the lake. Thank you Veronica for helping us with trains and ferries and being a wealth of ideas for our stay. It was lovely chatting to you each day 😊

The stay in Swiss Inn & Apartments was fantastic in many senses. For me, having a differentiated treatment than that you get in "normal" hotels is what I look for when I travel. Swiss Inn could not do better in that sense - you really feel "home" and dearly welcomed. Swiss Inn is very close to the train station and so, extremely convenient. Close to a big supermarket, which is useful, especially if one stays in an apartment with a kitchen. For my needs, Swiss Inn was all I was looking for, and more.
