Hotel Weisses Kreuz

We family of three stayed here from 15/08/2023 to 22/08/2023. We had booked Triple Room. LOCATION : Bahnhofstrasse - Höheweg street, The main Street having all branded swiss watch Shops etc. 5 - 7 minutes walk from Interlaken West Railway Station and 15 minutes walk to Interlaken Ost Railway Station. 5 minutes walk to Casino and Statue of Mr. Yash Chopra. Halder Klum 7 minutes walk, Paragliding landing ground just stone throw away. CHECK IN : Very Smooth, but room allotted only at check in Time, have to pay for early check in. At front Reception Desk MR. VLADIMIR is a very nice, gentle and helpful person. ROOM: Room was Clean and size is good. Initially had Room on 3rd floor without any view, requested for good room with view of Mountain or Street. Shifted to Room on Mazanine floor having Street view, but realised what a grave mistake I did. Rooms at 3rd floor are newly done with a good big bathroom with a big shower area(no tub). This Room just above the street had a tub but made the bathroom very claustrophobic. At Night lot of noise of People, Tourist walking and taking, Vehicle Passing and there is A resturant just below the Hotel and so People dinning there are too noisy. Also For Luggage this room at Mazanine is totally useless as lift stops on 1st floor reception level and 2nd floor, so you have to Drag your luggage one floor down or Carry one floor Up. Never Take Room with Street view and at Mazanine floor. Hotel has a seperate Room where they have a water dispenser , Instant tea - coffee, Microwave, Electric Kettle, Disposable Plates, Bowl, Spoons and forks. It opens 6Am till 10 Pm. There is a room where Luggage is stored and also have provision of Iron with Iron Board. BREAKFAST: Decent Breakfast spread, best is Three main preparation of Vegetarian Dish and rest standard continental English spreads. Breakfast Supervisors are wonderful, Amazing, friendly and helpful people, namely MR. VICTOR & MR. IOANIS (FROM GRETA GREECE).

Rooms at Mazanine Floors having Street view, it's just above the street full with noise disturbance. Iron not provided in the room.

Location -Right in the center of Interlaken City, 1min walk to bus stop to Interlaken ost train station( and free bus tickets for your whole trip and few other offers or discounts for tours) Many restaurants with different cuisine around The room is clean , just like in the picture and whatever toiletries are mentioned in the list is available. During summer they provide fans which was great. They have excellent safety standards in place except bathtub

Breakfast is simple and maybe we found it the same for all 7 days as we stayed in Zurich 4 nights and they had the same breakfast so we didn't go for breakfast after day 1 of our stay. Bathtubs don't come with shower curtains but have a glass door half so every time you shower the water is on the floor ,So you have to be very careful with regards to safety (had a fall ). (Maybe the can fit a sliding glass door throughout or at least a curtain) Pillows are too soft so didn't use them either.

The location of the hotel was great and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was mostly friendly. The facility was clean enough other than the bathroom in the room and had an elevator which helps when carrying your luggage up to your room. The room size was decent for three adults. (We requested three beds).

The front desk personel was friendly the day of check in but for some reason the day I was trying to pay for the hotel he was not in a good mood. There was a bit of mildew in the bathroom ceiling. We had opened the window because the room got stuffy but then had a bug crawl in so I would suggest not keeping the windows open for too long.

Fantastic place to stay. Staff were awesome— especially Karolina. So friendly and so kind. Spotlessly clean. Great location and close to supermarket, restaurants and transport links. Goof gateway to explore the alps. Beautiful view outside our room – we could see paragliders right outside. Nice to have breakfast included with our stay. Very delicious and good range of food included. Very generous hosts all around.

The place is awesome. It would have been nice if there was ventilation in the bathroom, and a jug in the room for use, but very minor feedback. Absolutely fantastic place to stay and I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Great location along Hoheweg which is a main shopping area. Just outside hotel is the bus stop and it is only a few mins walk to the train station to/ from Zurich. Near convenience store, restaurants, watch stores and outdoor stores. Good view of the mountains from my window.

Room and bathroom space were tight and hallway was also narrow. Sometimes the floor felt it was creaking. Breakfast was just okay but dimly lit. Only one elevator but never crowded whenever I used it.

We actually stayed at Hotel Krebs, which was a sister hotel. Since Hotel Weisses Kreuz was closed during that time, they had transferred our booking to Krebs. So all the ratings are for Krebs Hotel. The Krebs hotel is a four star hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. It was a really big room with a nice wardrobe and even had a little balcony. The hotel was located very close to Interlaken West train station, as well as several restaurants and shops. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was okay (as vegetarians, we had fewer options). They gave us a quiet room as we had requested.

The bathroom door creaked, which could have been taken care of by oiling. The view from the room was okay.

The room was perfectly clean, the mattress - firm and comfortable. Breakfast was nice with a wide choice of things. What more you could wish!?

The thing I advise you to fix is the width of the shower curtain which is obviously too narrow. And that is the reason you attached the notice on the mirror saying you charge a fee for water on the floor! What could be easier to replace your curtains with the ones of appropriate width?!

This hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from Interlaken West station and along a street where there are many shops and eateries nearby.

Some of the rooms are not on lift landing and one needs to walk up a flight of steps. This can be difficult when one carries a heavy luggage, hence I requested for a change of room. There is no hot water jug provided in the room and the water in the washbasin and long bath drains very slowly.

Everything was excellent by over its like 5 stars hotel. It’s worth it for the money. But staff was helpful specially the female receptionist and cleaner and the African at the place were they served us breakfast

The words that used by one of man receptionist “SHIT” by anger, they need to be trained professionally and learn how to communicate with customers..
