Hotel Palacio Branka

Excellent location in this small town. Lively bar, but this closed at 11.30 latest and so didn't disturb our sleep. Our room was very basic, but the price was very cheap and so we didn't expect luxury. The room was exceptional value for money. All staff were very friendly and very helpful. We loved it here and would definitely return. I believe some rooms have air conditioning, but for the price we paid, I wouldn't have expected this. It is a short walk to the beach, and a short walk to the hotel car park, but this must be reserved in advance.

The girl and the man who manned the reception desk were very welcoming and friendly. They didn’t charge me for the half day parking, they were lovely to my kids. Great atmosphere in the bar each evening. Room comfortable bathroom great

The breakfast was pretty awful! Coffee not hot, cheap bread and overpriced with poor service. Also do not stay here if you’re driving- it was a nightmare getting to the car they should really make that clear before booking or at least reduce the price to balance this con.

We loved every aspect of our stay here. Everything was super clean and seemed to operate as a well-oiled machine, but it retained every aspect of sleepy basque town that one wants when visiting Mundaka. Shout out to Nory, as she took care of our check-in when we arrived and served us breakfast the following morning. She had the gift of knowing when to take a moment to chat with us and when to work to make sure everyone else was taken care of. This gave a human element to the entire experience, and we felt at home. Good job, Nory!

Wonderful staff, great location. It’s unpretentious and doesn’t try to be anything other than what it is.

It was super hot when we were there and our room didn’t have air-con, nor a fan. And as the property is in the heart of the town, keeping our windows open at night wasn’t a possibility as it was too noisy.

Breakfast only served from 8.30 (which was my set time to leave to a meeting). Staff did their best to set it up a bit earlier, allowing for a rushed toast on the way out. very bright LED light only in the rooms, not possible to dim.

Good hotel very central in the nice little town of Mundaka. The Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff really helpful and friendly. Lively hotel bar/cafe with a great vibe with lots of locals most nights. Nice sandy beach only 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Mundaka is a beautiful village on the sea, and Palacio Branca is fantastic old building in the center of Mundaka. We loved the atmosphere, the breakfast is great and the staff is so kind and helpful...

The property was modern and fresh but in a traditional Basque house style. Staff were friendly and helpful and it has a terrace which was great - good pintxos.

Nearby builders noise at 6:30am (clearly not the propertys’s fault).

Clean, crisp bedding. Good size bathroom, clean and powerful shower. Breakfast facilities available if you wanted. Super friendly reception.. centrally located. Value for money.

Quirky, old hotel, a mix of old fashioned and surf themed. Friendly staff who happily accommodated our bicycles. Great veranda for local wines and simple food.
