Vincci Ciudad de Salamanca

I cannot think of anything bad about this hotel: big, modern and clean rooms, very friendly staff, good breakfast, good garage for the car, ..., I will repeat if I come back to Salamanca.

Not really a negative thing (it was actually positive for us), but the location might not be ideal depending on what you're looking for, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. On the plus side it's a very pleasant stroll though a nice park and the Roman bridge and you get very nice views of the cathedral from the other side of the river. Also, getting there with the car is really easy, you don't need to go to the city center at all.

A really nice hotel, clean and smart. The room was a good size and had everything we would want. The bar was also nice, as were the staff there (and in the hotel in general). Although slightly out of the centre of town, it's only a 15 minute walk and it's actually quite nice being a bit further away from the heavy tourist centre as it's quiet.

Overall we didn't have any complaints. We could hear the person next door snoring, which wasn't ideal, but on the whole it was a peaceful place. The pillows were not comfortable for us, but this is of course personal preference.

Hotel very well presented. Loved the wooden decor in the rooms. Bedroom comfy. Good shower and bathroom. Reception staff friendly and helpful. This was just an overnight stay on way back to Santander.

Did not like have to use the QR code for everything. It did not work great for us and after a long drive from Lisbon last thing we wanted to deal with. Just wanted to see what was available in the restaurant. Cafe area tiny not really a restaurant probably due to few guests? Had to press a buzzer to summon waiter?? Another QR code on the table! Waiter/Bar attendant could not speak english. Felt sorry for him trying to help us. However, when he showed us the menu he understood what we wanted. Burger was not cooked through and had to be returned.

Welcoming staff in the stylish reception area. Pleased with the underground, secure garage parking - worth the extra cost. Staff in the bar were exceptional, food was good & fast to be delivered, great beer too! Very clean room & en suite, comfortable bed. We were planning on taking a walk or taxi to the centre, unfortunately there was a thunderstorm, so we stayed in the hotel bar! We will have to revisit and would use the same hotel, no doubt!!

Some noise early morning from people starting cars etc, as in a residential area - but we only heard it because we had the window open rather than the Aircon on.

Luxurious room with sufficient space and wardrobe space. Friendly helpful staff and private parking. Excellent restaurant. Conveniently close to the old city. Received an additional key card to keep the power running (airco) during my absence as a solo traveler.

The separate shower cabin is a little bit narrow. The name of the hotel is not visible on the facade facing Avenuda de la Salle, which makes it initially difficult to find the hotel, coming from the West.

Really comfortable bed /shower, simply perfect for a day after exploring the city. Quick and early check-in offered was excellent! We stayed on the 3rd floor which was really quite. Next time in Salamanca, here we'll stay! Great supermarket a block away from the hotel, really easy parking around the hotel. Location, 15' nice walk to the city center.

Just a suggestion which had no impact for us: Breakfast is quite expensive comparing to the great options available just a few blocks away.

If arriving by car much easier to reach (from A62/A66) than other hotels located in the center of Salamanca thus avoiding its traffic. Good breakfast, wide selection of items. Very helpful front desk. Convenient underground parking. We arrived early and could park and go off to see the city's attractions and move into our room later. The cathedrals and other sights are a 20 minute walk using the Roman Bridge near the hotel.

Big room and bathroom (never had two showers before!). The beds were really comfy (we had a twin room). We had two armchairs too and a decent TV so we could chill out without having to sit on the bed. It was so nice to have a kettle too. Good breakfast. Lovely man on reception.

The pillows were thin (although there was a spare one and I'm sure they'd give you another). The milk at breakfast was not nice (strong UHT taste). There was quite a lot of traffic noise from our room but that doesn't bother everyone and not all rooms give onto that main street.

Very large room. Very quite. Very comfortable Very well situated. Nice walk to town. Very clean all round Bathroom superb with separate bath with shower and another separate shower cubicle. Plenty of goodies in the toilet and shower gel smelt beautifully Safe in the room

A bit stingy with the coffee/tea/milk provided. One of each when two of us. Parking is available at a cost but if hotel were busy I fear parking could be very difficult. Maniorability could be difficult with large cars. Mine is a Kia Niro and as I said I am glad the car park was empty. I fear that this is quite common with most parking in the underground of buildings.

amazing value for a very large superior room with seating area, huge comfortable bed and bathroom with separate shower. the The staff are very friendly. We have stayed here several times as a stopover on the way the Santander to catch a ferry but will definitely book a longer stay in the future. Parking is available at the hotel but we use free parking on the main road outside the hotel. The hotel is not city centre but very easy to find // park and the centre is a short drive or walk if needed.
