Vienna House Easy by Wyndham Leipzig

ROOM: The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also okay, not so big, but still with enough space for our bags and with nice toiletries. BED: The bed was too soft for our taste. BREAKFAST: The breakfast was very good, with nice selection of eggs, sausages, cold cuts, cheeses, different bread, croissants, fruit salads, vegetables. Juices were a bit too sweet, coffee was ok. DESIGN AND SURROUNDINGS: The hotel is very nicely designed. we parked in the garage, just below the hotel. The location is great for exploring the city. The hotel bar and terrace are very nice for drinks during the day and in the evening. COMMUNICATION: The staff was nice and welcoming. The check in and check out process went smoothly. The wi-fi was good.

During a recent trip to Germany, we stayed here for 4 nights before moving on to some other cities. I have to say that we were so thoroughly impressed with the Vienna House in Leipzig that we're certain nothing could be improved upon! The location is great. Directly opposite the main station, with plenty of tram stops nearby. It also sits within the town centre, making all of the shops and restaurants in Leipzig City Centre a 10-12 minute walk away at the most, some just 1-2 minutes. We had absolutely no issues with noise as we asked Tom at reception for a quieter room, and he made sure we had a room that didn't face the potentially noisy streets on the outside of the building. I think I would recommend other guests to ask for the same if you plan on having the windows open - no A/C in most of the standard rooms I believe, but this is OK if you don't mind opening the window or it's not too hot outside. All staff were pleasant and attentive, but a special thanks to Tom who made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and greeted us each morning with a smile. A credit to the team! The rooms were very clean and finished to a wonderful standard. For such a reasonable price, this was a very pleasant surprise! Breakfasts were excellent too - a really great deal of choice and all of high quality. It made for a perfect start to the day. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and have recommended the hotel to others already. If you're looking for the ideal place to stay in Leipzig, you've found it here!

Perhaps having A/C would be the only place to improve, but this was no problem at all for our stay.

Location, Staff and all what you would expect anyways was superb!! Wanna mention some extras that you don’t always have, the windows are so super soundproof that despite having the main train station and a road in front of the window, with the windows closed you heard absolutely nothing! Best sleep ever!! And another cute little detail which I started to appreciate as I left. they have those little bags in the room that you can hang on your door knob so housekeeping would not change your towels that day. in the morning they put a chocolate bar and waffle into the bag for you as a thank you. I think it’s ingenious! Makes you feel appreciated for something you would have done anyways. Makes you feel good. So I can only recommend it. And the staff, from reception to bar, to everyone you would randomly meet, they are super friendly and respectful. thank you!

It was a very big Hotel room. The location was in a great place to walk everywhere. There was no air conditioning but they had some free tower fans we could use in our room.

The bathroom was separated from the toilet and the sink was in the bathroom. So you have to touch a lot of doorknobs to wash your hands in the sink or leave the doors open. It didn’t feel very hygienic this way. There was no air conditioning and the room had small windows which you could only open a crack to let in a tiny bit of air which barely helped.

Very spacious family room, though we did not need more than one bed, but that is how it works when booking a room for 2 adults + 2 children. Very clean and the location is perfect, a lot of restaurants and shops around. We only stopped for 1 night while travelling back from vacation, but it was easy to get there and see a bit the city as well.

The staff was not very good with English and we also could not have a parking spot in the hotel parking. But there was a big parking across the street however.

Excellent location, just a few minutes from the Central Station and right in the City Center. Comfortable, clean room with good soundproofing and plenty of space. Polite and friendly staff. Fast and free WiFi.

For a 4 four star hotel, there were very few amenities in the room: no mini bar/ fridge, no kettle, a combined shampoo/ conditioner/ hand wash in the bathroom (which was actually nice) and had to ask for a shower cap, no slippers available. The hotel's cafe is open after 6pm and the advertised 24/7 mini-mart has soda, cola and some basic snacks (chocolate, chips).

My first time staying with the Vienna House brand, and it was excellent. Large, comfortable, modern room. Great bathroom, strong shower, comfortable bed. Plenty of storage space to hang up clothes. Very strong and reliable WiFi. Large desk and comfortable chair for working. Excellent breakfast. A huge range of high-quality items. The breakfast room can get busy but table availability is well-managed and the buffet is constantly replenished. The location is very convenient, just opposite the Hauptbahnhof. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, just across the road from the main train station and very easy to walk to any of the main attractions in the city centre. Twin room was a decent size, really clean and beds were very comfortable. The rooms were well soundproofed...we couldn't hear any outside noise despite being so close to train station. Staff were very helpful, willing to answer questions and give recommendations. Nice bar area to relax and have a drink. Small gym/fitness area with a few machines and weights on top floor.

Slightly more expensive than I would have expected/experienced in similar cities.

The location is great - just a couple of minutes' walk to the central square. The property provided secure parking for our motorcycles. Check in was a breeze - a good thing as we didn't get there until 8:00PM. The room was fine - we had to pull apart the beds, no big deal. the bath had a nice shower and a separate room for the commode. We passed on breakfast, opting to eat in one of the many locations in the city. We did enjoy a nice beer in the pleasantly appointed bar.

While the location was great - there is no obvious place to park while you are checking in and unloading. My only complaint.

The room was clean and comfortable if bland. The location is fine, just across from the main train station and not far from most sites - the center of Leipzig is not large. Good restaurants nearby.

The hotel does not have air conditioning, which was listed as an amenity in one write-up. There was a beeping noise from the street all day and night that made it difficult to leave the window open. The hotel does have fans that they will provide and they drown out the noise. As the climate warms, it's difficult not to have a/c in the summer.
