Best Western Hotel Leipzig City Centre

The hotel is located well located, next to the train station and close to the center of the old town. The check-in process was very easy, they just asked for my signature. The reception staff were very friendly and the Hotel was also very clean. The room is very good, it was clean and organized, had towels, shampoo/liquid soap, hairdryer, kettle for heating water, and various types of teas. The TV was also smart and allowed me to mirror my cellphone screen, which is very useful for me. Breakfast offers a variety of foods, more than enough for me.

I went for breakfast after 10:00 AM and unfortunately, there were no more croissants :-( but that doesn't diminish the quality of breakfast. However, I waited, but no staff came to my table to ask me about what I would like to drink, since they serve the coffee at the table. Therefore, I had to call someone and request what I wanted to have. Similarly, I expected the breakfast staff to be attentive and friendly, but I don't remember any of them greeting me upon arrival, which certainly doesn't align with the hotel's guidelines. For this reason, the breakfast aspect receives a lower score in the evaluation.

The room had a comfortable large bed, and a well working air conditioning, which was very welcome on a hot summer day. There is a kettle and mugs for coffea or tea in the room. The location is close to the train station, and therefore also just a short walk into the city center.

Just some minor things: some noise from the trams on the street of the hotel; a limited amount of water gets from the shower to the bathroom floor even with the shower door closed; the bathroom wall is made of glass so the light will also enter the rest of the room.

I didn't like that my fire stick wouldn't work, when I asked the staff. They said it wouldn't after that conversation my phone wouldn't cast either, when it would before but i would stay again but found another place to stay when i visited again. also when you put do not disturb on the door, the cleaners just come in, it is not good when you are in bed.

Great hotel for this price: the room looked really nice, everything was clean and the staff was helpful. It is just a short walk to the city center and the hotel itself is very easily accesible since it is next to the train station, where you can park a car as well for only 7 euro/day.

There is a bit of noise comming from the public transport, which can be expected since the train station is so close by. So if you are a very light sleeper perhaps consider bringing earplugs, we personally had no problem sleeping.

The rooms were great for what we needed and spacious enough.

The family room was located on the 7th floor, but the elevator only went to the 6th floor. As we had some heavier suitcases, it would have been nice to have the elevator to the top floor. We were able to manage and we were glad we were able tocarry the luggage up the flight of stairs.

Great location next to the central station. The choices for food was terrific because you could walk over to the station and there were lots of choices. Showers worked well.

Room was a little small, but all we did was sleep there. Breakfast was a bit pricey, so we just went to Starbucks everyday which was a short walk to the train station. Great Starbuck at train station.

Great facilities and location. Loved the room design and layout. Elegant, clean, modern and efficient. Great breakfast.

Bed did not have a good hotel style mattress , it was not stable and the mattress sagged in the middle….not comfortable, which was really strange given the quality of everything else. Maybe a previous guest had broke the bed.

Location , Opp the Bahnhoff , short walk to the stadt centrum , good staff , nice bar area , very nice breakfast,

Nothing , excellent room , I was on the 7th floor , lift only goes to the sixth , then up one flight of stairs , but it’s not Mount Everest 😄😄

Proximity to central train/bus station & tram

The slide door on the washroom don’t close. And check in time is a bit late for 3pm for those overnight guests that need to check out early to catch flight. Hotel should have a little consideration on this situation (s) thank you!

This is really a good hotel with a perfect location. Next to the main station and city center. Very tidy and clean. It is really nice place to stay, nothing more should be said:) Extra points are for giving me both booking.com discount and BW points (I did not have a card with me, so they found me by name).
