Felix Suiten am Augustusplatz

The studio was fantastic, very specious, clean and had a great view on Augustusplatz. Both bedroom and the main room had a huge window in which you could sit and observe the square below. We were travelling with a toddler who loved it. Baby bed provided by the hotel was excellent. The kitchen in the studio was well equipped. There was a nespresso machine with tea and coffee capsules too. The location of the hotel is very convenient for the central station and city centre.

We were not allowed to stay a 2 adults + a toddler in the studio S that we booked with booking.com (due to insurance only covering 2 people for the room) and had to upgrade to another room. The upgrade was quickly done when checking in. I had just wished the person adding a travel cot to my booking had told me. We loved the view on Augustusplatz in our upgraded room but other people might find the trams on the square too noisy. The windows are triple-glazed so it's fine when they are closed but when you open the windows it's very loud. There are studios with other views too, so I'm sure there is something for everyone.

Central stylish apartment very close to the concert hall, museums, shops, supermarket etc. Within walking distance from the station which was a plus. Had a lovely large sunny balcony for breakfast or evening meal - although other rooms balconies are directly adjoining so there is no privacy! Very comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen.

I would have preferred the balcony to be more private and for security. As a solo female traveller it did strike me that people from the other neighbouring rooms could get over the dividing balcony railings easily and get direct access straight into other rooms if the sliding door to the room wasn't locked - so caution needed. I locked the balcony door at all times during the day even if I just popped back inside for a moment.

The location was amazing! We helped a friend move to Leipzig so she rented my friend and I the room and we we're both beyond happy. My friends especially were obsessed with the rustic feel of the suite, for me it was definitely the light fixtures, be it in the lobby or the room itself. I haven't watched any TV in years but definitely enjoyed the opportunity to do so. Really happy about the edeka close by and the proximity to the main station. 11/10 for the little candies. Bought back forgotten childhood memories.

Important disclaimer, this has nothing to do with the hotel or staff itself as far as I'm concerned, but I tried to get in touch with the hotel again about a pair of headphones I could've potentially lost (will try again) but that was thru booking so idk.

Great location with comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast

There was a huge miscommunication with the concierge regarding key-collecting after-hours. My flight got delayed so I called the hotel asking if they could be flexible with my arrival. Concierge was rude and said that nobody could help and that it was a problem. After much pleading he agreed to wait for me for half an hour. However i managed to arrive at 11pm on the dot but all doors were locked and dark. They never told me reception was on the 6th floor and never told me there was a bell i had to press to call them. I couldnt find any bell. After 30min of dragging my suitcase around the complex i gave up and found a 24hr hotel to check into for the night. At midnight concierge called and yelled that he waited for me for an hour and was very condescending when I explained i couldnt find the bell. I also explained I called reception many times when I got there but it went straight to voicemail to which he replied to with another condescending tone. Well i checked in the next day anyway and the room was very nice and comfortable and the concierge lady compensated my inconvenience with a free buffet breakfast. The start was very bad, the guy was very rude and felt like he didnt care about customer service and talked like the place was too good for me. But when I did get there, the other staff was friendly and helpful. Id love to give this place a better rating but first maybe arrange a better way to get keys to the guests who might have to arrive after 11pm due to unforeseen circumstances like a delayed flight.

Communication. After-hours checking in was a nightmare.

Location of the hotel is great. A few steps to the center of the city. Breakfast was above average for similar hotels - surprisingly good. Bads were comfortable.

It was not clean as you would expect. Couch (red) was dirty and had visible white stains, which was very disturbing for facility claiming that has five stars. You should provide larger couches for suites intended for families. It was quite hard to fully close the door of our suite. Hotel does not have its own parking, however, there are several public parking spaces near the hotel.

The functionality of the suite was excellent; bed was VERY comfortable. Our needs were met one hundred percent. We highly recommend Felix Suiten and would definitely come back ourselves!

Unfortunately there was a glitch when it came to the cleaning service of our suite…we were over-looked. We mentioned this to the receptionist when we checked out and she was most apologetic…gave us a bottle of wine, gratis. Very nice.

We booked this for a music festival. it is a short walk from the main station. A bit of a pain with luggage, but that's on us. Very centrally located, clean. Staff speaks many languages if necessary. Mini fridge had a few freebies in it, appliances were great. Shower and sink had room for our stuff. Very easy to ask staff for anything.

the door tokens are difficult and do not work consistently. This isn't the struggle you want at 3am.

Stylish Studio Apartments with industrial style, really close to the central station and the city center. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the studio was very well equipped. We celebrated a bachelorette party there and it was perfect as we had enough wine- and cava glasses for everyone. The kitchen has a large fridge and a dishwashing machine. We took two XL suites that can both accommodate 4 people. Also liked the amenity kit in the bathroom - very cute.

If I were a guest accommodation, I wouldn't save on things like espresso capsules - come on guys, just get the real nespresso ones, they're way tastier ;) There was some hair on the floor in the bathroom from previous guests. Just something that shouldn't happen.
