Hôtel La Muette

The location was ideal for walking all around the city of Arles. The staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay there the room was fairly small but we expected that in an older facility and enjoyed it anyway.

If you are traveling with a car be aware of the way that the streets are managed with ballads that have to be remotely dropped in order for you to enter into the city. The parking garage was helpful although pretty tight to maneuver in and out but that's an older City and we were able to figure it out fine. The staff was very very helpful the breakfast was outstanding and we enjoyed our stay there

Staff was very helpful in arranging and recommending restaurants. Location was great. Petite déjeuner had homemade yogurt , jams, croissants etc. Lookout for the market days before your arrival...some streets are not accessible. Arles is one of my favorite cities in Provence. Easy to walk the historic district and don't miss the Gehry Tower.

It was difficult to drive directly to the hotel. There are very narrow streets but the main issues was bollards blocking the Google map street direction. You need to call the hotel to let you in or rely on another car entering. Parking was free and secure near the bus and train station. Would suggest calling any hotel ahead of your arrival as this was a familiar situation in any villages and towns.

The location was great - tucked on a quiet street but only a few minutes walk from the Arena, the Place du Forum and the Place du Republique. The rooms, although not large, have been thoughtfully appointed in a beautiful historic building. The beds and bedding were very comfortable and the towels (a pet peeve for me) were reasonably sized and absorbent.

The only thing missing were tissues in the bathroom, but that seems to be a less commonly included item in European hotels.

A beautiful, romantic place to stay in Arles. I literally had to take pictures of castle-like doorways and round stone steps leading to the rooms. The rooms are wonderful, very comfortable and clean, and the staff was super friendly. We arrived before check-in time but they had the room ready for us. Awesome sparkling stone/marble bathroom, too!

Great hotel in old house completely renovated. The hotel reception closes at 9pm but the manager can be reached by phone and she was able to direct us to the hotel. That was great.

It is a nightmare to find this hotel. Driving through the old town is not feasible unless you drive a very small car. Unfortunately this is not mentioned on the booking site. Best way is to walk or ride a bicycle. If I had known that, I would not have rented a room.

The hotel is extremely well located, downtown, walking distance to everything. The staff is exceptional, they know the area well well and gave us excellent advice on restaurants, what to see and where to go. They are very sweet, eager to make your stay as memorable as possible. The breakfast is also very good, a lot to chose from with local products and homemade stuff. Thank you for making such wonderful memories!

I thought they should have cleaned the room each day and I'm sure if I asked they would have. So not that big of a deal. If you are coming by car just know that the parking space is extremely small and challenging to get into if you aren't used to it. This is not a reflection of the hotel but more just for the choice of staying with in the old city.

This was a great find in the center of Arles. The hotel is nicely renovated and our room was very comfortable. It was very quiet in the evening and made for a restful stay. Arles was a great base for seeing the Roman ruins and Van Gogh sites. The staff were friendly and had some great restaurant recommendations for Provençal cuisine. Be there for the Saturday market, only a five minute walk away. I would stay here again

The nearest parking was 250 meters away, and parking lot charged 2Euro /hr from 9am-7pm. The center of town is restricted.

Beautiful rooms and building, location was superb. Staff were especially friendly. Room was very pleasant temperature even though it was hot outside, plus there was air con if needed.

The breakfast was too expensive for us. For a family of 4 this would have cost us over 30 euros. The staircase up to the mezzanine floor in our room and the mezzanine floor itself was very squeaky but this is to be expected in an older building. I just hope it didn't disturb the neighbours.

Great location, good breakfast, and the staff was amazing. Our flight was delayed, luggage didn’t arrive…so the front desk gave us the code to get in and left the room keys and helpful suggestions on the front desk for us. The next afternoon the front desk person helped us navigate delivery of our luggage and the trains to Nimes…..she was fantastic. I can’t say enough about how great the staff was.
