Hôtel Mistral Comédie Saint Roch

The location was excellent, in a nice old building. The staff were really lovely and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean, and the air conditioning was great in the hot summer! They even had a small elevator for taking your luggage up, which was much appreciated.

I had only one minor issue -- I was usually still in the room when they came to clean, which was fine, but even on days where they came in after to change towels, make the bed, etc., they didn't leave additional toilet paper! It would be nice if there were always two rolls handy in the bathroom.

Exceptionally helpful staff - Maiva at reception spent part of her evening investigating travel options to the TGV train station for the following morning, and booked a taxi for me when we decided that tramway works made public transport doubtful. Plus breakfast was excellent - cereals, yogurt, fruit, toast, cheese and ham all on offer as well as croissants and pain au chocolat! The room was exactly as described on the website, simple but with everything that you needed, and very good value for money.

The rooms were clean, the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of major tourist attractions. The staff spoke excellent English and provided helpful suggestions as to what to see in the city. We were also able to enjoy our wine in the common space, which was very pleasant. The breakfast was good.

The elevator was tiny, so getting all the luggage up to the rooms took us a few trips.

I wasn’t expecting much for the price but such a great location, and excellent value for money. the best of all was the staff was absolutely lovely, helpful, friendly. gave us loads of tips on where to go and what to do. the room had what we needed.

it was basic but we didn’t expect more. perhaps a kettle in the room would have been good but that’s because we are British :)

The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. They also spoke very good English. The location was perfectly located with respect to both the train station and the city centre. Good value for money.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller size, but that didn’t bother us too much because we are both on the smaller side.

The hotel is very well located, a short walk from the train station and la place de la comédie. The room was small, but it was just for one person and I didn't need more space. The staff were all friendly, I had no issues.

The only downside was that the window in my room didn't lead out onto the street, so there was never any natural light.

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, in particular the girl who helped us. We like the position because it's in the centre of the city and it's possible to find a lot of restaurant, shops and nightlife. In addition, it's near the station and the bus stop. Room are very comfortable, big and above all clean.

Room was perfect for a solo traveler, Single bed very comfy ect. This is a practical comfy no frills accommodation situated smack bang in the centre of all the sights. The staff were great. I really appreciated the Tram explanations and the effort they put into speaking English with me . I actually returned a week later to stay another few days as i enjoyed my time in Montpellier so much :)

The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Those two receptionists were always smiling and trying to help us feel comfortable! The room was very clean and spacious. Lots of sockets, which is good to have.

the bathroom was small so the floor can be wet, but that was not causing any discomfort.

Excellent location, a 5 minute walk to the train station or the main city center, Place de la Comedie, supermarkets close by and lots of pubs and restaurants. Staff very friendly who spoke really good English. Basic but really good breakfast. I would definitely come back if I were to visit Montpellier again

no toiletries except for shower gel but I always bring some with me, so it didn't bother me at all
